.As far as them wanting her and Becky being the new Shawn and Bret I wonder which one is which. Of the two they favor Becky more like they favored Shawn more but Becky also apparently has more of the backing of the locker room like Bret did. Oh, Charlotte is the Shawn. You don’t get told to leave after a backstage row and then have it a part of storyline and not be the Shawn. EDIT: Also, people really hated Shawn back in the day along with the Kliq so it only makes sense.

Only Charlotte lacks any of the charisma and entertainment value that Shawn had. Also her push has been far more unrelenting than Shawn’s was.

That didn't stop them from firing Ruby. Oh yea nothing will stop them from continually making stupid choices but they are in an even more dire situation with their women then IMO when they fired Ruby. Once they brought Bruce Pritchard and Johnny Ace back as Vince’s goons, it was basically saying “Hope you enjoyed the last couple years, ladies. We’re back to not giving a shit about you at all”

I understand being unhappy Toni lost, but at the same time I don't think the match was presented as a dominant win at all. Toni managed to counter Natural Selection, counter a Figure 4 (that was semi-bridged if not into a full Figure 8), and the win only came via a cradle getting (just) reversed. Her finisher was also protected.

Her finisher was also protected. At this point, that really means little. She also did not get much offense in either, and Charlotte sold even less. And she still lost clean as a sheet. The whole story has presented her as inferior, and then Charlotte just beats her. WWE simply does not get the benefit of the doubt anymore, especially not with Charlotte’s booking. Fans have been burned too many times.

Already chasing after the 24/7 title. Yeah, I think Toni's toast.

Doing 24/7 Segments is never a good sign for anyone's career.

What offends me here is that you'd make people at a house show sit through boring-ass 24/7 running backstage segments. If you're going to subject people to that awful division you could at least do it in the ring.

Look, I know WWE f***s with a lot of careers and yeah, maybe Toni's not in a great spot following the title shot on Smackdown. That said, I really don't know that we can consider a house show where it was literally all hands on deck due to COVID the nail in the coffin.

Her entire MR run has been booked like crap. That’s the problem.

Even if it wasn’t the nail in the coffin, you really can’t blame us for basically writing WWE off on this. As Asuka said, we’ve been burned far too many times.

I don't think Toni's necessarily done yet -- she's in title matches on house shows and not sitting home, but the Smackdown women's roster in general isn't great and we've all been burned before.

Boy her career went well didn't it. Wow, yep, I'm just going to stop saying anything about talent's futures. Wonder if something happened, seems weird to get cut literally the week before a new year and the wording of this doesn't sound like the typical release.
