Not that anyone is saying it, but I have reasons to be cynical and think someone out there is. Screw you if you're all "Yay Hardy Boyz reunion in AEW!" First Jeff has more pressing matters than wrestling. Second, the Flair issue shows us that TK is not totally desperate for name value with baggage. So...no. Yeah no one is saying it here on this forum thankfully, I did see some clowns on that SRS tweet talking about it though which is crazy but yeah. That needs to be the last thing anyone mentions. Well as far as wrestling fans go, you are the most reasonable and logical I know.

So sad that it's come to this, I hope he gets the help he needs but WWE have done the right thing here. There's only so much you can do to help someone.

There’s definitely one guy on the Twitter that is saying he got inebriated on purpose to break his contract and go to AEW, thus showing how the race to reach new lows isn’t just for WWE’s business practices. Oh geez. This is taking me back to the 90s when there were fan theories that Shawn was acting up all those times so he'd get fired and be able to join the NWO.

The DUI back in 2019 was concerning for me and it was mentioned in other posts before his release, someone like him shouldn't have been on the full time schedule given his issues and his wear and tear.

Yeah, they've more than gone above and beyond for the guy. For all of the "why don't they seriously push him" talk over the last few months.....this, very sadly, is why they couldn't.

Sorry if this offends anyone. Given Jeff's well-documented history of competing while in less than ideal shape I'm surprised he hasn't seriously injured himself or someone else yet. It is a minor miracle nothing has gone horribly wrong.
Maybe he'll finally get the help he needs this time. We can only hope...

I'm honestly curious now how many times Jeff Hardy has been fired for similar reasons? Did TNA fire him after that Sting match?

The man has a family/kids. I hope he finds the help he needs to get through this because he doesn't need to be putting his body through this anymore.

I'd like to take a moment to appreciate how good Big E as champion could be for WWE if they let him work as a PR guy.

The world doesn't deserve a good person like Big E. I hope he is in charge somewhere someday.

Jeff Hardy should do Rehab, then reunite with Matt. Problem is as we've seen with Sunny, Jannetty and others is they first have got to admit they have a problem and they refuse to do so

I saw a couple of tweets pretty much saying that WWE is the most evil company that ever existed and anybody defending them releasing Jeff are awful, terrible, no-good people.
If he really did relapse and roll into work hopped up on goofballs, then WWE had every right to release him.

WWE has done so much to get that criticism. Their handling of Jeff pretty much his entire adult life isn’t one of those things.

I really feel for Jeff here. Hope whatever issues he's dealing with can be resolved and he can get past them.
And yeah, I think it'd be best for him to stay out of the wrestling business for awhile, if not retire outright. If he returns to wrestling, I think it'd probably be best if it was the same promotion Matt is in at the time because he'd probably act as an on-the-road support system for him.

People raising questions about how they burned him out towards his late 20s with Hayes being known to be the one to ask the Hardys and Edge and Christian to do what they did during that time (There's an X-Pac clip going around with him saying as much) are absolutely fair to ask (and if he did come to work that way, well, whoever was involved with that should also be fired if it's found out), but after all this time, it feels like a real grey area.

Oh wow.
That’s crazy and scary. I hope wherever he lands he gets help. I really think it’s best if he just retires. Full stop.
