I don't know if being away from wrestling is good for Jeff Hardy, or if the idle time would be worse for him. But if he's going off into the crowd high, that's an incredible liability. That's another point to consider. What if Jeff not wrestling and being idle at home makes things even worse for him?
But yeah, WWE can't force him to go to rehab and if he's going to be a liability to himself and others, then they were in the right to cut him loose. You really don't want a repeat, much less a worse version, of Victory Road.

Seems neither are very good for him. I mean slash from Guns n roses has said that when he came off the road in 1988 after their tour, they had money and lots and lots of time and it nearly ended badly and 1989 is a blur. it’s hearth warming to see everyone is this thread singing from the one hymn sheet about wanting to see Jeff hardy happy and healthy again. It just shows how genuinely liked he is across the wrestling fandom he is.

I'm sorry but I'm personally not going to automatically agree with any "Jeff is fine" stuff from them after he refused to get help. Like, yeah they're saying that but nah.
I'm glad Jeff is at home at least. That I can agree with.

Yeah, I don’t know ANYTHING about them or the situation, but Beth being mad at reporters isn’t a great start to this.

Is it wrong that I feel like Hardy will go down as one of wrestling's greatest wasting of talent? Like, it sounds nuts when you think of his resume and longevity, but take into consideration the insane amount of talent and a charisma that just *reached* people. IMO, he never came close to what his potential was

Problem is as we've seen with Sunny, Jannetty and others is they first have got to admit they have a problem and they refuse to do so And I recall Matt alluding to it before, he can only do so much Reminds me of a shoot Kevin Nash did years ago when he was asked about Scott Hall and Nash said that he tried to help Scott out as much as possible but eventually Kevin has to get sleep. And ... ya someone cannot come clean if they're being babysat 24/7 I dont think Jeff got inebriated to get fired, but I wonder if he turned down rehab to get fired. WWE has shown in the past they will add time to your contract for missed time due to injuries and they've done that to Jeff I believe. I wonder if Jeff still may go to rehab but on his own so he doesn't feel trapped. Now of course that is all assuming what happened was a relapse or drug related we still don't know. But I've always gotten the impression that Jeff is much happier away from WWE and only seems fine there when his bro is around. Hopefully Jeff truly is okay and if it was a relapse he gets the help he needs

Like, the reporters have a right to report, and the people reported on have a right to be annoyed, especially given the circumstances.

Guys like CM Punk or Daniel Bryan, if they'd been allowed to truly break through to mainstream stardom, I think would've been excellent faces for the company during appearances on late night, morning shows, game shows, SNL, etc. Articulate, intelligent, willing to laugh at themselves and their profession. Hardy? I really don't know.

Rehab could be for a million different things. Not knowing more information and exactly what state he was in at that house show makes it difficult to comment with any certainty (and no, I'm not asking for those details need to be made public)
If Sean Ross Sapp is right, and he usually is, then I don't think WWE had a choice after Jeff refused rehab. I hope the offer remains on the table and that Jeff takes them up on it. I don't know if being off the road is going to make things better or worse for him, but I hope Jeff can get himself sorted and be healthy and happy.

IMO, he never came close to what his potential was I don't know if I'd go that far because he still had a great career in spite of his demons. When I think of a waste of talent, it's someone who could've had a great career but never came close to achieving that. Someone like Low Ki or Austin Aries. But yeah, he is often his own worst enemy.

Who should I believe, WWE's PR or Jeff's family? Hmmm. I'd go neither.

I don't know what the answer for Jeff Hardy is anymore. He is refusing rehab, and as much as I think he needs support, I don't think another wrestling company(looking at you AEW) is the right environment for him. If he is to continue in this business, then keep him the hell out of a goddamn ring! I can't believe this has happened again. Jesus Christ WWE, you truly are TNA. MORONS! Let's be fair to WWE here, TNA kept Jeff on the roster and basically gave him a slap on the wrist. WWE fired him almost immediately. Not really comparable IMO.

Who should I believe, WWE's PR or Jeff's family? Hmmm. Here we go. Jeff has a history of lying about his problems. He no showed TNA events claiming that there was a snake outside his house that stopped him from leaving but turns out he was just staying home and doing meth.
