So for April Fool's Day Linkara and his friends are doing some kind of internet analog horror show about an old Minnesota UHF TV station. Looks kinda Local58 inspired. Here's the first one - Here's the link to the playlist if you want to follow the rest - www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxCy3y2-ZD2Em9C-8pG3IDvpliemt_FmUHe's still posting new one's as of the time of this posting.

Better late then never -
Apparently Linkara is planning on taking the rest of April off and his next video won't be up until May. I'll bet it'll still be late.

Have to admit that what I heard about Dark Night Metal sounded like edgy nonsense, so see what happens with it here.

I'm just going to say I strongly disagree with Linkara's take on the story but I completely understand where he's coming from. It's a great story if you like heady cosmic hibbidy swibbidy but it's incomprehensible if you dont.

I mean, I enjoyed it but my first comic ever was JLA/Avengers #1 which is a series full of utter nonsense for a noob so I’m used to it. Death Metal is the better of the two, though.

I watched some parts of his review of Batman v. Superman.
I don't think it's a good movie, I just find Linkara's complains about how the characters are not 'accurate' extremely hypocritical after he bent over backwards to justify Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi.

Luke in Last Jedi made no sense to me. Dude trew down his lightsaber and was willing to be killed in his belief that his father could be redeemed. Dude eventually has a vision, which he already knows are only what may come to be, and decides, if only for a brief moment, to take out his nephew. Just didn't make any sense.
Plus there was that whole crappy communication between people in the resistance fleet that could have saved a bunch of lies if leaders hadn't kept things close to the vest. And then the fact a Droid could have been the one to stay behind on the ship instead of one of their top leaders. Or the attempt at whataboutism trying to compare the Republic and Empi.....err First Order, which was so stupid.
I had a lot of issues with the sequel trilogy if you couldn't tell. Don't even get me started on that stupid mcguffin dagger in RoS and why and how a stupid thing like that was made in the first place.

Wonder what #700 will be (I'd like to see him take on Watchmen finally, but that would take way too long, and the backup stories, at least Under the Hood and the Sally Jupiter interview, are all essential too, so he cant ignore them).

Especially since he made it clear over the years he never liked Star Wars much to begin with.

I'd love for Episode 700 to be "Sinister War" from Nick Spencer's climax on Spider-Man, it touches a lot on Lewis' two 'favourite' Spidey subjects...OMD (even if it doesn't resolve it) and it retcons Sins Past, I recall reading Lewis did comment on the retcon over on twitter.

Is it bad? Cause honestly I'm tired of Linkara reviewing good comics. Or really recent comics. Or things that aren't comics. I get why he does it, especially for Patreon reviews, but there is just so much old-school bad comics that I would find more interesting and more fun to see him review that he'll probably never get to. I mean, he hasn't even touched all the garbage that was happening with mid-90's Justice League.

I personally enjoy Sinister War and Spencer's run, but for many it was a disaster and you can tell it was meddled with editorially, the Sins Past retcon I'm pretty sure was still Spencer's idea given his fondness for all the bat crazy 90s lore of Spider-Man, and yeah Lewis thought it was pretty dumb.

And Linkara returns for a Patreon review, reviewing his first ever novel. And to my surprise it's not "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair as I expected.

I remember being pissed off the comic book TNG/X-Men crossover ended on a cliffhanger that bled straight into that, I couldn't find it anywhere.

Linkara's back with the latest Late Night Double Feature -
So is anybody else just not feeling this series? Maybe it's because I'm not a horror movie guy and this just feels like another thing that gets in the way of Linkara reviewing bad comics.

And next week is a Patreon sponsored review Man of Steel, which I will be skipping. Barely can cope with this board's weird obsession with bringing up Zack Snyder, don't need to watch one of the people I watch spend an hour rant about it. So is anybody else just not feeling this series? Maybe it's because I'm not a horror movie guy and this just feels like another thing that gets in the way of Linkara reviewing bad comics. Weirdly, I'm also not a horror guy but I have to say, I sort of dig him talking about horror movies. Not really sure why, guess it's just me diversifying my knowledge without actually watching horror movies. And hey, if it allows him to do something different to not get burnt out on the main stuff, more power to him.
