Even in the theater I immediately found myself wondering how the hell Bruce made it back to Gotham in Dark Knight Rises. Kind of amazing when the most sensible answer I can think of is, "That prison's located in Gotham's desert wasteland district." Or . he's f***ing Batman.

That and the first movie established he'd been travelling around the world mostly by himself with few resources at hand. Him getting back to Gotham doesn't really stand out as far as his unlikely feats go.

I still don't get how Leia remembered Padme.
And don't give me any made up rules about the Force to cover up bad writing.

The "rules" to the multiverse opening in No Way Home. Probably mentioned it in the NWH thread. I feel like that'll be covered in Doctor Strange 2 and, more likely, Loki season 2. Though another MCU one, what happened to Sterns? Did he mutate into the Leader? What happened to him? And Betty, for that matter!

Amityville 4 (which can be purchased on Rifftrax) had a plumber come down to the basement...and never show up again.

I don't think it even really has a plot, it's just a collection of different random scenes.

I still don't get how Leia remembered Padme. And don't give me any made up rules about the Force to cover up bad writing. There are three possible excuses that do not involve "Force memories". 1) R2D2 or her adopted parents showed her footage of her mother as a child. 2) One of the many handmaidens that canonically still honored Padme many years after her death was able to determine what had happened and traced one of her children to Bail's care, but left in order to protect the child. 3) She misremembered a nanny as her mother.

About #1... Didn't the Droids get their memories wiped after Revenge of the Sith? Threepio did, I'm not sure about Artoo. I don't think Artoo has ever been wiped during the movie era. If I recall my Star Wars Nerd Knowledge, droids can develop real types of AI over time in their programming. Traditionally people would wipe droids whenever they would start to develop their AI (usually seen first as a quirk). Sometimes you get a unit like Artoo where his "quirks" are positive and worth keeping. Artoo is basically King Shit of the Universe when it comes to repairs on the fly and hacking. His value is much greater than a normal wiped standard astromech. Also, Artoo is like the ultimate mobster. Dude NEVER narcs. The main drawback of not wiping a droid is you can end up with sentient droids that start droid rebellions and shit. Those kinda suck. With C3PO being around so much sensitive knowledge and with his quirks of being a blabbermouth, it's much easier to wipe him. Basically C3PO would be a super narc and Artoo would die before giving up his homies. I guess what I'm saying is Artoo is super gangster and 3PO is a bitch.

Why did Obi wan never remember owning a droid?
Yeah ok, he had very little interaction with R2 in the prequel trilogy, but when they were making it back in the 70s what was the reason for it? Or was it just a throw away line?

Or was it just a throw away line? Technically, he never did own a droid. The Jedi Council owned the droids he used. Heck, Anakin did not own R2 either. Padme did. He did own 3PO, however, but he gave him to his secret wife. Also, while it is possible or even likely that Kenobi recognized R2, to explain how he knew him would have been to give up the ghost on a whole host of things, not the least of which is how a droid that Anakin used exclusively (minus a month or two in the Clone Wars when R2 was stolen) wound up in the hands of Princess Leia.

Yeah, especially since it is obvious that there is a time skip involved. The Same way he got out of blast radius? Well, the autopilot was repaired so it's not as though he rode the Bat all the way out. Having said that, considering the distance that the Bat traveled before the bomb went "BOOM!!", all of the characters in the movie should be in for a bad time instead of just Bruce.

I think the excuse was since it was a special type of reactor and not a bomb that there was no significant radiation.

I imagine every physicist who saw that had to laugh at the notion of that much mass/energy conversion happening without significant radiation also being a thing
