I actually kept thinking, despite how good this was being all slow paced, a no dq match with the two would be money and probably better.

Nah, not when the finish isn't shit imo, the finish was great, Wardlow shadow passing the ring, that story continuing, Punk having a reason to run this back for Revolution and this match giving you every reason to want to see it again, it was really good, and the match was perfect old school wrasslin

So, I'm going to admit something to y'all. I've been going through wrestling fatigue over the last several months.

That match brought back the fan in me. For the first time since Grand Slam, I was invested in what was happening in the ring. That was fantastic. They killed it and I'm not even mad that it ended with "misery booking" because it was so well done.

Plus, we know Punk's winning at the PPV, so that softens the blow lol
