Remember a few years ago when Ric was selling creepy weird 'consent contracts' on his website for Valentine's Day? This man's every instinct is absolutely horrible.

Also: Wonder if Becky right-clicked-saved and basically stole valuable art from him. Even as a joke I refuse to let you call an NFT either valuable or art

Ric Flair is too old to be corresponding with any woman that's Becky Lynch's age, and it seems he's going overboard with his fixations that he's divorced, living the life of a 25 year old still. This old aging disgrace was probably the creepy one who pitched the Lacey Evans angle. He's like that weird awkward dad or grandpa who plays beer pong with the kids or still goes to EDC. Cringe, creepy, out of place, and gross.

The simple explanation is probably the right one… She has heat with his kid, while at the same time spending most of the last four years taking her professional thunder. But does she? As far as I knew they were really close friends and any rivalry was being overblown for some pseudo worked shoot Survivor Series junk. I don't think he's even brought up Charlotte in these tweets, he's obsessing over what Becky calls herself and how she owes him money, and now this stuff with Ronda. it's brought up on the stone cold interview Becky's entire posture, vocal tone and physical reaction changes for that segment of it, theres genuine discomfort talking about it

Or the time when he tried to whore himself out for the low, low price of $100,000 "Accompanying any young lady for a night of laughter, socializing, and dancing at the most special occasion of her young life: her high school prom."

Didn't Ric get in trouble for forcing a kiss on Becky in her 2016 Rumble match with Charlotte that was cut so fast that by that same night it was gone from the on-demand version of the show on the Network? Wonder if he's still holding a grudge from that. Purely speculation that I'm basing on largely nothing, but he's always seemed contentious of Becky if my memory serves correct. I figured it had to do with WWE paying him to use/release "The Man" trademark when she became a face of the company or something along those lines. Combined with her big return being around the time of his DSOTR episode I think this is the mania of a guy worried her legacy will outlive his. If he had any awareness of his standing and wanted to secure some goodwill on his name he'd shut up but he's not capable of that.

For the record, I think WWE hasn't actually paid Ric anything for use of "the Man" as I don't believe Flair had any sort of copyright on it at any point. Probably Flair outright lying again, or (at best) him stretching the truth of WWE paying him for something else entirely and him chalking it up to use of "the Man."

It would be a Trademark I believe, not a Copyright. And there is no way I think Flair had enough foresight to Trademark "The Man".

I just looked this up, and he did file for a trademark for this at one point. link

I don't think you can copyright it. It's such a generic thing that gets used everywhere. It would be like trying to trademark "Dude".

The link that I posted includes the documents that prove this.

Mark Madden mentioned a few weeks ago that "The Man" TM is Flair's once again and that was the reason WWE is going with "Big Time Becks" as Lynch's nickname. He made it sound like WWE and Flair had come to an official agreement.

Becky's "The Man" merchandise is on clearance at the WWE Shop website, and they're clearly favoring the "Big Time Becks" name over "The Man" on TV now.

They likely moved away from it for now because "The Man" character is more a babyface thing than a heel thing, at least for Becky.

It's sad that Ric Flair hocking NFT's is one of the less scummy things Ric Flair has done.
