His merchandise website is currently selling this T-shirt. It doesn't seem like WWE would allow that if he completely gave up any claim to it. There's also a ton of items with the full "To Be The Man...." phrase as well. Oh WWE totally would. As litigious as they can be, Flair will always be one that they just look away from. They probably see it as, as long as Flair is making money, he won't come asking them for it.

I'm sure Ric would sell out Charlotte for a price if it meant he gets to party an extra day, act a fool and suffer no consequences, womanize or sexually harass or have a chance to die in the ring.
Charlotte is a link to the biggest company in the world but when or if she ever becomes useless to him, he will sell her out to a bidder, it doesn't even have to be the highest bidder-just the one who can help him at the time.

"My dad would do anything in the world for me, except respect my wishes." Ric Flair, father of the century.

A child shouldn't be held responsible for the sins of their parent. It's too bad Ric is such a slimy piece of shit.

Ric Flair was never known as "The Man" so this whole thing is f***ing stupid. Yes and Ric never tried to trademark it until after Becky started using it to my knowledge. But Ric does have some small point, IMO. Becky calling herself The Man came from her throwing Charlottes catchphrase in her face. And Charlottes catchphrase was Rics. So it really was born from Ric. So the best thing would have been WWE throwing some money at Ric to go away. Which they may have done. And if not then he should gave had it trademarked. And they have given him so much already.

From what I remember Ric mentioned selling the trademark though it's hard to believe anything out of his mouth. That said, WWE has thrown money his way plenty of times.
I'm also somewhat amused that Becky's nickname came from feuding with a Ric Flair cosplayer but still really worked for the character.

WWE absolutely threw money at Ric to go away when this happened. Ric trademarked it in 2019 and they bought the trademark off of him in early 2020. The only reason this isn't a settled issue is because Ric is being a broke baby

Becky won and destroyed both Flair's whole-ass podcast and friendship with Mark Madden.
Still The Man!
