Yep. Wonder if her last name is Vadiant? "Remember me, Ellie? When I killed your sister, I talked...just...like...thiiiiiiiis!!!" (meant to evoke a very deep voice)
No one can resist the old bikini wax and manicure!

So a 4chan poster claims to have seen this. Take it with a grain of salt though... According to this: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}- Pluto = villain is true. Complete with HIGH-larious, totally fresh joke about him being jealous that Goofy gets to walk on two feet and talk.
- Pluto having a Frankentoon machine is also true.
- When Pluto is defeated, he is taken away in a dog pound truck by...The Weasels from Roger Rabbit. As if we needed more reminders what this was really meant to be.
- Remember I said Gadget would either 1) Be the villain, 2) Have some reference to the Russian cult story, or 3) Something that embraces fans thinking she was hot? Well, according to the report, the answer is...#3. Because Gadget was kidnapped and forced to work for Pluto when she was a stuntperson for Scarlett Johansen. Yes, including her wearing a Black Widow costume. And if this is true, actually... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} LOL, Black Widow was Russian. Like that cult who worshipped Gadget!
This is the closest at a subtle joke this movie will have produced thus far.
Awe, who am I kidding? If it's true they'll probably explain how Gadget became a BW fangirl from her time there in the cult, just to beat the point home.

I wonder how long this film has been in production, as it's starting to feel more like Disney's answer to Learning With Pibby (the whole multi-character crossover), only nowhere near as nightmarish.

I'd say longer than that. As it's so obviously a Roger Rabbit 2 without the balls to go all in like the original movie did.

It’s been in planning for a long time…since 2014. It isn’t the original plan though since it was originally a Rangers origin movie. Plus…I’m sure I’m not sure how Pibby comes to mind first when it’s basically Great Value Roger Rabbit 2…the movie that is, was and always will be the movie all cartoon/live action crossovers will be compared to. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}From what I’m seeing the Pan we see in trailers is a clone…an old middle aged clone. Fat Cat and Nimnul are supposedly also in the movie in some fashion.

A question about the REAL RR series, if I may...
When the gang helps other anthropomorphic animals and makes them honorary Rescue Rangers...have we ever seen any of them in future episodes?

DISNEY, YOU COULDN'T PICK ONE ACTUAL MUPPET? FROM THE FRANCHISE YOU *OWN*? REALLY?? I expect a character from (Turkish) Star Wars next. Geez, the Muppets can't catch a break even when casting a watered down live action reboot.

Arguably, even as a character in the original book (with a different personality than the movie), Jessica could be seen as an expy of Red from the old MGM shorts:

There weren’t a lot of repeating guest characters between episodes outside of I think the pirate crew. Popular ones like the lab rat who could shock people, Tammy and Foxglove got more focus in fanfiction and Foxglove was also in the recent RR comics. But much of the original show had self contained stories.

Live Action RR is Trash.)

I admit that I would kinda mark out if it turns out that the speculated villain in the spoilers is only manipulated by the real mastermind villain of this movie:

Reviews are solid. Consensus is that Disney let Lonely Island get away with murder. It’s shocking who and what Disney and other studios let them get away with. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Sonic from the movies shows up
The ORIGINAL design.

The ORIGINAL design. Well, this went from "This looks like it'll be a fun time killer" to "I need to see this NOW" {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}But it's good that the work that was put into that model didn't go to waste and got some use out of it.
Because, didn't that animation studio go out of business after having to re-do everything for the first movie?

The ORIGINAL design. I am almost tempted to pull a Snyder and start "Disney paying the reviewers" rumors over this. Yet they still {Spoiler} couldn't use an actual Muppet? I guess ironically, using the RR as an example, Disney's worst rights issues come from within. On one hand, if the reviews are accurate/warranted, if nothing else I hope this being successful means a legit series to be spun off. On the other, if it is, I am sure we get TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck sullied too in the future in live action. Still, I am tempted to urge people unhappy about this to ignore it and watch their favorite actual episodes that day.

Saw some clips online of this. I'm probably not even scaling the tip of the iceberg here, haven't seen the full thing, but here's the three major things I've learned {Spoiler}-Randy Marsh makes a cameo
-As noted, Pre-Redesign movie Sonic is in this, he's become a bit of a celebrity by embracing his notoriety as 'Ugly Sonic', at one point Dale is weirded out by his teeth. He has two short scenes in the film. He boasts about working with the FBI on a reality show called 'Ugly Sonic, Uglier Crimes', and he does say 'you want me to go fast?'. He's voiced by Tim Robinson. And as for Gadget, the big surprise is {Spoiler}She hooked up with Zipper, they scored, and they have 42 kids, all mice/fly hybrids

That’s what I’ve thought with every piece of news that’s come out about this but reviews seem to suggest it’s solid so I’ll give it a whirl later. From what I’m hearing the story takes backseat to all the cameos but it’s intended to take the piss out of Hollywood’s remake and nostalgia craze. A lot of us won’t forgive them from not allowing the Rescue Rangers to appear in all their glory in DuckTales because of this but I’ll give it a chance.

It's kind of amazing how the first movie Sonic design has taken a life unto its own at this point.

Just finished watching it. It was a fun movie. A lot of the nostalgia that they crammed in felt like it actually worked. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I laughed when I saw the bench ad with Butthead running for Senator.
