Also, wrestlers and celebrities in general. You want good will? Just be a sound lad and everyone will think you're awesome! Buff's gone from a joke to a guy everyone's rooting for in a week. PRs not hard, just be nice! Also, if you have a rep of having an ego and you're aware of it...don't have one anymore. Problem solved! Ok, not that easy but still! Honestly, I've seen people put over him being great with fans for ages, it was more just interactions with other wrestlers, and even then, WCW didn't exactly have a disciplined locker room in general. (Not me saying they needed wrestler court and shit like that, just that it had its own brand of toxicity.)

More also thinking the story of his Mum calling up WWF and complaining about his son and the like but then it seemed like Buff was a reluctant shrug of a signing to them post WCW than anything useful to them.

I’ve been following Buff on Twitter for a bit now, and I’m really impressed by how much of a good dude he seems nowadays. He seems like he’s making the effort and doing his best one day at a time, which is awesome. All the best to him.

It's funny people not believing Buff would be doing his own twitter yet people still believe elderly Iron Sheik who actually did a video saying he wasn't on twitter and isn't good at reading or writing english is the one writing all those funny "Sheik-ism" twitter posts.

Buff never failed to be entertaining in WCW.
He was always hilarious. That moment he punched what he thought was a fake Sting is one of the funniest moments ever in wrestling IMO.
I wish him well.

I remember going to an independent show a while back and Buff was there. Guys like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall (Sorry, not trying to bash him, just pointing out what I saw) would tell kids to get away from them, refuse to sign things, or want to charge for whatever. Meanwhile, during the intermission, Buff is playing with the kids and even has a 'match' with one little boy in the ring (For free, I might add). That's always left a big impression on me and it made me think that, contrary to a lot of the stuff we've heard, somewhere in Buff is a good dude. Seeing his interactions on Twitter, I think it's safe to say that he is a good dude that has dealt with a lot of 'issues'. I wish nothing but the best for him. Like I said, seeing how he treated the kids that night completely turned me around on him and made me a big fan.

Whatever his flaws, Bagwell has always been known as being awesome to fans, especially kids

I was a huge Buff mark growing up and was really bummed to find out that he seemed to be a total douchenozzle - also generationally speaking, he was not exactly hugely likely to be someone who was particularly accepting of people who live a lifestyle like mine (given he shared a locker room with Kanyon, and we all know how his story turned out), so finding out that if nothing else he welcomes his LGBTQAI support now, it's really quite validating.
He said on Twitter that he was always a pretty metrosexual guy before he'd ever heard that word and it seems like a lot of queers were into Buff, not just me, so it's also kinda validating to be a part of that wider community of queer wrestling marks.
If you're a Buff fan, or even if you've never seen his work but could do with more wrestlers not being assholes, I recommend following Buff on Twitter. He keeps learning new slang terms, general modern ones but also specifically queer ones and drag ones, and it's wholesome as f*** and heartwarming and sometimes really funny.

Buff being sex work-positive and pro-LGBTQ+ is the kind of wholesome wrestling story I need these days.

Go check out Buff Bagwell's Twitter right now as he watched the Hall of Fame and decided the right response was violence.

Poor Warhorse. I, too, know the feeling of it being bullshit of never getting to be a hot chick.

He’s had such a face turn lol. He’s also very much a smark. It’s delightful to see. The fact he’s admitted it’s part of his recovery process is even better. I always try to go out of my way to like his stuff.
I was also an unabashed Buff fan during WCW and always felt he should have been pushed towards the ME scene.
