I don't know how many people know about it, but I have to pick "Dark Rising", which features Jay "Christian Cage" Reso. I mainly picked it, because it features this awesome scene...

Was a cult hit at the time, but I don't know how remembered it is 15-20 years later.

Enter...Zombie King is an early 2000s throwback to the kind of movies El Santo used to star in (with gore and boobs to appeal to modern audiences). Jim Neidhart showed up in a prominent role.
Nigel McGuinness played a Nazi soldier in Puppet Master X: Axis Rising.
Vader was a villain in the live action Fist Of The North Star movie from the mid-90s.

There's a genuinely hilarious 1985 comedy called 'When Nature Calls' that's a send-up of family wilderness movies. It's directed by Charles Kaufman (who did the 80s horror classic 'Mothers Day' and the hyper-kinetic action film 'Jakarta' - both *completely* different genres) and features two very funny scenes with Classy Freddie Blassie as a doctor. Mick Foley acted in a Troma film between his ECW and WWF stints called 'Deadbeats.' Haven't seen it in years and years but I recall him showing really good acting chops. There's also a documentary about down syndrome called 'Jefftowne' and the main subject attends the 1997 nWo Souled Out pay-per-view as part of it. Nigel McGuinness played a Nazi soldier in Puppet Master X: Axis Rising. I believe F.A.N. favorite Todd (of Todd's Autograph Arena) plays a bartender in the sequel 'Axis Termination' as well. |
