For the rapper=wrestler thing, how about Big Boi as Matt Hardy?
Part of an enormously successful and influential team. Often overshadowed by his partner, but he was definitely not carried and brought quite a bit to the table in the partnership.
"Who's Your Caddy" is his equivalent to Matt Hardy's "COW BLOOD" TNA run.
(Not at all me calling Big Boi one of the best on a single act level, though, trust me. He's fine, but not anywhere near the the top.)

I just want to chime in and say that, as someone whose music taste is primarily "metalhead," I have enjoyed reading through the informed discourse in this thread and checking out some of the rappers that I had never checked out before.
Also as a metalhead, I want to give a shoutout to Ho99o9, who I think puts out some of the coolest and most genre-bending music out there right now. Notwithstanding the classics like Tupac, Nas, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, and Jurassic 5, I'd probably say they're my favorite rappers.

I haven't got a clue who the best rapper is, but I like Abdominal and Jurassic 5.

"Dangerous Lies" or whatever. Only memorable thing from it was in an interview when asked what Andre 3000 wasn't on the album he said something to the effect of "He was doing some Gillette shit that day." Forever immortalizing this: 2012 - what a bizarre year.

7. Slick Rick (Ricky Steamboat) I promise you Ricky Steamboat's wife was MUCH more beneficial for his life and career than Slick Rick's is.
