I like Black and his boys, I love the presentation, I think I'm just done with "dark stables". I can't think of a single company that has done a good job of it in a long while and AEW has tried a handful in its short existence. Dark Order Nightmare Collective House of Black Dark Order are the exception, but only because they're basically just goofy babyfaces now.

Also helps that when it got shit on that they turned from dark creepy stable to a cult. Then turned to a bunch of goof balls. Nightmare Collective thankfully died a quick death.

That annoys me for a number of reasons, but most of all 1), you don't owe it to a story to be patient with it if you're not enjoying where it's going, 2, an eventual good payoff (which, based on a lot of AEW's other stories that have dragged on and on, I don't count on there being) doesn't justify the ride being ass, and 3), it's not longterm storytelling when you're just doing the same thing every week. Long term doesn't necessarily mean good, and if the story itself isn't good then stretching it out doesn't make it good either.

I like Malakai's current gimmick.
Of course, I also liked that batshit old NJPW mini-movie in which the Great Muta hatched out of an alien egg and killed a lizard dude. So it's entirely possible I don't have the best standards when it comes to acceptable limits of supernatural nonsense in wrestling.

I miss when he was making people pay the bootyman's toll. Will he ever pay The Troll Toll, though?

He did not need a stable. The 'House of Black' is just diluting things.

Plus it seems harder to get him into feuds as he's not really a "singles guy" now I don't get why AEW have a rankings system, but not a load of guy clamoring to get to the top. Even Bryan and Moxley now are just happy wrestling the kids for wrestling sake. No reason house of black amd Blackpool combat club can't have this feuds and be targeting belts

I read the Fuego beatdowns as just heels beating down a liked jobber for heat, I didn't realise this was supposed to be an actual feud. Weird direction to take.

I dunno, I still love Malakai and his group. I do agree the Fuego feud feels like filler (goddamn, try saying that five times fast) but I figured whatever direction they were originally going got changed when Fenix got injured so I'm okay with it.

For a brief moment I thought sun actually meant son which meant Sting's son Darby which meant he'd pop out the coffin. He didn't. That's why I don't like vague nothing promos, whatever you fill the gaps with is usually better than reality.
He's a weird one, can't remember someone towing the line between being great and crap for so long, often threatens to fall either way but never quite does.

Much prefer him on his own and largely silent, haven't really enjoyed much of his work since NXT.

Get rid of the silly make up. How can I take him seriously with that spread across his face?

They ever gonna do anything with Julia? She was suppose to have joined them but never did.
And of all people to start a feud with, why Fuego?

If he wasn’t a great in-ring worker, he probably would’ve fallen off the line by now.

It's a filler feud until Fenix gets healthy and PAC comes back I assume And Julia is slowly having something happen to her, her last matches have has a little bit of grey under her eyepatch, so something's "Growing" under there.

Somehow the best stuff he has done is still the feud he had with Velveteen Dream in NXT
His NXT run is what he should be instead of the shit he is doing now. Cool look, had the dynamics and everything down pact but a lot less talking would help. Just be a force shrouded in mystery

Just be a force shrouded in mystery To me he’s a case of less is more — the rambling promos make him less interesting, not more. Same with adding people around him.

Julia has a match on Elevation next week and she will be on VB corner on Dynamite.

AEW has a tendency to stretch all of their stories out even the good ones seem to kinda stall in the middle, how long did they tease Wardlow's dissent before finally getting on with it? It felt like it was an entire year... they pulled it off fantastically but they didn't need to do the dissension tease for nearly as long as they did.
