There really isn't another character like Seth Rollins out there (that I know of anyway)

Right now?
It feels like it "matters" more than the other promotions.
For example, the Spectacle.

Major League Presentation. It still looks like the big time.

The funny thing to me about the CGI is they almost find a decent use of it as a simple way to kind of enhance entrances, but then they do things like cross-eyed Becky Lynch and that lip demon thing Bianca has and it rides right into "what the f***" territory.

It’s like someone bought Dunn and his crew some halfway decent CGI software and half ass showed them how to use it. There’s no need for creepy ass Bianca lips, giant Taker or random PPV logos to be floating over the crowd. It really took away from Mania for me being the first show I’ve watched in a while.

Many posts mention the Royal Rumble. It is great that WWE turned it into an yearly PPV.

A good amount tbh. The Royal Rumble as others have stated, Money in the Bank still seems like the biggest one of those "hey let's put this thing up here so you'd need a ladder to get" even if they fumble the cash-ins, just stuff like that. It also is the biggest promotion and it has the "biggest feel" to it. It's like a Hollywood blockbuster movie. Yeah, AEW is doing it's thing and NJPW is doing theirs but they don't give me that same "oh shit they're dropping this super huge movie this Summer you gotta see it" type of feel. It's got the legacy as well, the prestige that comes with these belts, the promotion, the characters, it's got that.
That's just off the dome but yeah they've got it. What they might lack in storylines and match quality they make up for it in other areas.

I mentioned it in a separate thread about Roman, but if he left WWE he would instantly headline and be the biggest star in any wrestling company in the world. That just isn't the case for anyone at the top in AEW or Impact or Japan.
It's scale and its history just makes it a bigger deal than anywhere else. And succeeding there probably matters even more because of how backwards and difficult it can be.
