Saw this somewhere else and curious about people's thoughts if they agree or disagree. "The women's division when Regal introduction the tag belts looked like a group of women with their own different looks, mostly casual wear or ring gear. Few weeks ago when Nattie charged into the lounge it looked like a bunch of models hanging out."

Wow yeah this is a great example of the change. I didn't even notice that. Shit looks like a college sitcom or something and no that's no joke. It's like they think that is the norm. That's horrible. Even the lighting is weird here. Like, come on now. Sleazy.

Man, the budget for America's Next Top Model looks like it's taken a hit.

Man, the budget for America's Next Top Model looks like it's taken a hit. Ugh, I hated the commercials for that show when Smackdown was still on UPN. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

It’s very sad to see how the chaos and BS backstage in WWE drains the love and passion out of so many wrestlers.
Ember is holding back tears here.
CM Punk retired for seven years because, in his words, he “hated wrestling” by the end of his WWE run.
Moxley was exhausted and would have done anything to leave.
Chris Hero.
Taya Valkyrie.
The list goes on and on and on.
And Vince on Pat McAfee’s show has the hall to go “ well of course I’m always the bad guy.” THERE’S A REASON FOR THAT VINCE!! You make it SO EASY for people to see you as the bad guy with how you do things.

Not even a little bit.
Some people bend over backwards to defend Vince and WWE’s BS.

I just knew the moment I saw this on Twitter that it was gonna end up on here, posted by one of the people who are always on it about the NXT women’s division. Like absolute clockwork. The only thing missing for my bingo card is Ember Moon going “Oh, by the way, they hate Io Shirai because of her crazy passport”. Seriously though, I get real “make Reigns look strong” vibes from the way she just throws Mandy Rose under the bus like that. You can make your point and even get most people to agree with it without essentially going “It’s HER fault!”. Even out of context that's not what she's saying at all. Many Rose has a particular aesthetic that works for her. What she's saying is that WWE were, or are, trying to make other women fit that mould even if it makes them uncomfortable. She even says that her whole persona is designed to appeal to kids and makes it clear she was being made to feel uncomfortable. That you're being so outright dismissive of what Ember's saying and of it being raised at all is a bit messed.

All the sexy talk has kind of buried a lot of other pieces of what Ember said that are also pretty frustrating. Them not knowing Ember and Shotzi were a team and just calling her up is so baffling. There really was just no communication there, it was all clown stuff all the time. I don't know if it's actually any better now, but the fact it got to that point is insanity.

It’s been a problem for years, a much discussed about problem, but I’d almost argue it’s worse now from a viewer perspective merely for the fact that they can’t decide if Raw and NXT are in the same “canon”. One second, you have Bron Breakker teaming up with Tommassio Ciampa on Raw, the next second the guy returns with no first name and no admission that the events of that episode happened as an example. For a show that they clearly need people to watch, they’ve been doing a good job of saying it doesn’t matter that much to the almost 1.6-1.8m people that watch Raw weekly.

She comes off incredibly entitled in that interview. I cannot believe you can listen to that interview and the things she says in it and that is your primary conclusion.

I'm going to take the Mandy stuff with a pinch of salt, as even in this era of pushing some sexy vibes not everyone is Attitude/diva era sexified, by a long shot, but beyond that, it sounds like a mess and she definitely got the short end of the stick.
Some of her frustrations have definitely boiled over in to some embitterment, but can anyone really blame he when you hear what happened and how?
I know I'd be feeling bitter if that happened to me.
I never particularly rated her, but she definitely got messed about there at the end. You'd have to be blind not to see and accept that.

All the sexy talk has kind of buried a lot of other pieces of what Ember said that are also pretty frustrating. It's almost completely buried it. Nearly all the social media reaction is now Ember vs Mandy fans firing back and forth. Disingenuous stuff, for a name I feel was just being plucked at random by Ember rather than specifically targeted.

Sadly a large portion of the internet wrestling community seem to share the view she is 'bitter and angry' complete with Fightful's reporting on the fashion consultant meeting being apparently 'made up after the fact months later' despite the consultant having a post about holding the meeting and pics of the chairs awaiting the talent to fill them. A lot of people are jumping to discredit Ember and what she said, while others believe it because pieces fit together. The stuff about her heel return timeline actually makes better sense of some things I heard a bit back that I hope come out at some point. I believe Ember and Fightful on this. There are things about WWE I like, things I don't, so I'm not a lean one way or the other person. There are a lot of messed up things that go on there though, which is hardly a shocker as a lot of big name entertainment companies are clustermucks.

I thought she came off well for the most part and was justified in telling them to pound sand. Only thing that kind of rubbed me wrong was the comment about the girls they are hiring not caring and just being in it for the paycheck. I thought that was kind of a short sighted thing to say on her part. Just because you come from a different background and didn't work indies doesn't automatically mean you don't care or lack passion. Of course I'm sure some of them are like that but I think a lot of them probably do take a lot of pride in it and want to do good.

This turning into a f***ing stan war where everyone just gets petty because a whisper of a negative word detached from a judgment of a person was said, is a f***ing travesty. Too many people are still Weird About Women's Wrestling and it's turned the whole thing into a shitshow it doesn't have to be. Stans are the damn worst, man. This shouldn't be a referendum on if women can be sexy, and a bunch of people who didn't listen taking it out of context to paint her as shitting on Mandy have successfully let the actual meat of all the topic, which goes so much deeper than the sex stuff, slip away without a second thought.

I know Ember didn't say it to put her down as she gave her praise after namedropping her but I feel bad for Mandy in that it seems like she's a nice woman who hasn't done anything wrong but now is going to get a lot of backlash because she's the poster girl for this vision they have of making sex appeal the main priority.
