Remember Gail Kim did this in the middle of a battle royale and I don't think she even caught this level of supposed flack. Sometimes and especially in WWE nowadays you got those that are just gonna put up with it and ride it out and then there is Sasha by proxy Naomi who finally reach their boiling point with the bs. Like mentioned, her contract was up in less than 90 days and also she was never slated to be in a high profile match either. She walked out during a random battle royal on an episode of WWE Superstars.

Ah okay. My mistake. Regardless, she was never slated to win it. But back on the topic at hand, Dave Meltzer confirmed on the Board that he has talked to a decent number of wrestler locker room members and the vast majority of the roster has no sympathy for Naomi/Sasha. And Sports Illustrated just confirmed the same thing.

I've always kind of wondered what point Gail was trying to prove with the, "Nobody in WWE noticed!" I mean... I don't think it's that weird, she was one of twelve in the match, not doing anything important, and they were presently focused on, like, putting on a TV show. Guarantee if she'd done it in, like, a two-on-two tag match or something it'd have gotten noticed.
Though really I've always been pretty light on sympathy for Gail Kim. The women's division was absolutely booked like a useless disposable side thing at that time, 100%, but the biggest spotlight they really gave her in that run with the match with Mickie was pretty much a complete disaster so it's kind of hard to think she really could've been used better, especially when judging by her TNA work her idea of being used better is she wins all the time and beats everyone and is the ultimate badass and retires with the belt.

It does not paint the WWE lockeroom in good light like at all IMO because ya gotta atleast wonder how many of them look each other in the eye and put up the fake smile etc but would not stand in support of their fellow talent like with Sasha. Like is Shayna and Bayley now gonna have heat with others with them publicly supporting Sasha. Not saying this is whats gonna happen but with supposedly no one having any sympathy for Sasha is just a thought I had.

I don't think it's going to put the WWE locker room in a bad light with anyone but the most hardcore of smarks who WWE has already shown they don't care about in the slightest. The average joe is going to see this stuff and pretty much come to the same conclusion that the locker room is coming to. That they walked out on their job for a very dumb reason, and that they need to do the job they are paid to do. Also keep in mind that Sasha and Naomi have been prominently featured pretty much every week since Wrestlemania and this is how they act when WWE asks them to do something. It also leaves women like Nikki ASH and Doudrop out to dry. So yeah, they basically threw the locker room under the bus in their antics here.

Its honestly a cultural clash between the old-school and New school. A lot of generations past has the dont walk off or give two weeks noticed ingrained in their heads. No matter how horrible they're being treated. Our generation now is leading the charge to change that and with any kind of change there's gonna be pushback by calling our generation "lazy, entitled, unprofessional, its all the same lingo essentially trying to guilt us into staying at a bad situation. I’m in the newer generation (I think?) but still have that more old-school view, minus the calling others lazy or entitled. In my view of what unprofessional is, you can both make the right decision for yourself and your mental well-being by walking away from a contractual obligation but still be considered unprofessional. They’re not mutually exclusive. It’s also a different situation here where they’re contracted to perform for a set period of time, as opposed to a typical job where you can quit at any time. I very seriously wonder if a WWE contract would hold up to a lawsuit...

Maybe they're not "standing with her" because they feel they (for varied on a person to person basis) have valid reasons not to. Maybe some are tired of the perception that she pulled this before when she's booked to lose. Maybe some feel like she's been pushed to the moon and feel like they should get the chances she's walking out over? Maybe some feel like a last kin walkout screwed over other talent? I'm not saying they'd be right, but their feelings should be valid and not easily dismissed as "What a bunch of unsupportive jerks" (I'm not saying YOU are saying that, just that that viewpoint is out there)

Seeing as different types of cereal seem to be the topic of choice. I’m curious for the UK and Ireland based posters of which I know there are a few of us. Warm milk with corn flakes or not ? Was it just those of us in this part of the world that got those multi packs with small boxes of cereal ?
