I don't like most corporations in general but I despise a stupid one that is being stupid out of spite, bad move WWE bad move. The risk far outweighs the gain whatever that would be lol. The WWE is still playing like they're the only game in town and there aren't other options. They're probably going to hand Sasha and IO Shirai to AEW this year and they'll act like it's no loss. I mean until anything actually effectively causes the WWE to lose the money they are making hand over fist... it basically isn't a loss as far as they are concerned.

The main difference is that Sasha and Naomi technically owe the WWE performances. Lucha underground wrestlers where not in breach of contract they just couldn't perform cause there wasn't a place to air the wrestling... Sasha and Naomi can fulfill their contract the just choose not to . Considering how close they are to expiring they've most likely already met those dates...most wrestlers exceed those date marks. Especially Sasha, who was everywhere during the pandemic(Raw, Smackdown, even a few episodes of NXT)

Losing the independent contractor designation, if it comes to that, could very much impact those record-setting profits buying health insurance for a lot of talent regularly performing dangerous stunts ain't cheap. I'm shocked the E is being so petty about this matter. If either woman sues them over freezing the contracts all bets are off.

From their stand point, it wouldn't. They are still making money since they basically make their money independent of what the fans want... based on the TV deals and deals with the Saudi Government. Nothing to do with the contract itself... that said if the IC contract thing ever comes up in court expect the WWE to get a massive influx of cash on fighting it because and as has been stated multiple times WWE is not the only industry or company that abuse the hell out of it. They're just the ones most reported on (And yes a lot of their tactics are especially egregious)

I suspect it is because historically they enjoyed their bully position with talent and former talent. Freezing the contracts under these circumstances is a crap move, IMHO. One day, they might push the wrong person in the wrong circumstances too far, and then, well, things will not go their way.

Apparently Naomi liked this tweet, which...yeah. Her burying her coworkers like that isn't gonna get her many sympathy points. Naomi knows Shotzi really won the match.

On the one hand, yeah, probably shouldn't be doing that On the other hand... like we all agree with her right? Natalya getting a world title match in 2022 by doing absolutely nothing is f***ing dire?

Natalya’s fine as a veteran challenger of the month type, which is all this will be. And they did have a better challenger planned - Sasha Banks but ugh we know what happened there.

And you have Ronda vs Shayna, right f***ing there! But nope, Nattie is getting the shot. And to bring it to the thread topic, Shayna was one of the wrestlers who publicly supported Naomi and Sasha.

Honestly going into it I thought Natalya was the best choice of the available options. Shayna's something you'd probably want to build to and put on a bigger show while no one gives a f*** about Natalya but she can be relied on for a reasonably decent match, so having her as a useless filler defense while they reshuffle some things isn't the worst idea.

Seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and get stories from tweets people like but that’s just me.

Agreed- you can def build up Rhonda vs Shayna for a bigger event, and not just throw away their first one on one contest.

I know Ronda would go over since there's very few women Vince would even consider putting over ahead of Ronda but I think it'd have the potential to be cool match.

So because Sasha and Naomi who were reported to be each facing the two champs on PPV obviously won’t be doing that we got a brilliant triple threat between Becky, asuka, and Bianca which besides the main event was the best match of the night so that’s a 👍👍 on that front, and we are getting Natalya and Ronda on the blue brand. Well okay that won’t be a good as the raw title match so a mixed bag.
