It's offseason for The Golden Knights and The Raiders, and the A's haven't moved to Vegas yet. Any reason for WWE not selling out The Big Roomba? UFC has a big card the same weekend in Vegas. Plus the WWE is over killing the Stadium shows thinking a B PPV show would sell it. Rumble, WM, and SummerSlam should be it. Outside of the overseas stuff.

If Ortons back injury is as severe as some places seem to be making it out to be then it would explain not doing that match at MITB and possibly pushing it back to summerslam again if Orton cannot go. I’m pretty sure his injury is just in kayfabe. Is it? my bad then because there have been some places that have been talking it up like it is legit.

No Roman in the advertisement. No Becky. No Ronda. No Charlotte. No Orton. No Usos. No Edge. No Lesnar who I think some thought would return soon. The star power there sure doesn't look stadium worthy. I like Miz/Street Profits/Rhea, but if you're trying to sell tickets you put the bigger names on there.
There have been conflicting reports about Roman taking time off and whether or not it would be just house shows he'd miss. Him not being advertised here maybe confirms him not working the show, although Roman v Riddle was just being talked about as the main event. Charlotte is taking time off too but this show isn't until early July is she really going on a month and a half long honeymoon? They announced Orton has a back injury, maybe that's legit and not kayfabe. Even if Roman, Charlotte and Orton were all off the show I have no idea why they wouldn't be advertising other bigger names though like Becky or Ronda or Edge or even Styles/Lashley/Owens/Asuka/New Day. Who knows, maybe this was a last minute poster cooked up with little thought and an updated one will come out and those names all end up appearing after all.

The poster in the email they sent around has the following wrestlers that were on the original poster removed: Reigns, Lesnar, Rousey, Charlotte, Becky, Lashley.
Of course, it’s likely not an official poster and just an image they threw together for the email.

I mean running three stadium shows back to back to back was a bad idea to begin with. Nevermind the fact that one of them is MITB where (at least for the women) the case is usually cashed in fairly quickly. I think Carmella held onto the case the longest, but every other woman has cashed in almost immediately after winning it.
I think going by the poster above, it wouldn't be shocking if we get Rhea vs Bianca at MITB, probably with Bianca going over. Especially since this Judgement Day stuff is crashing and burning right now.

They should just have it at a half empty stadium. wWE now makes most of the same mistakes WCW and TNA did they might as well have the shows looking like theirs. Thing is, even if they sell half the seats, they can set the stage up so that it looks full like they did at the Rumble or last year’s Summerslam. Still over a month to go for the show, too. Yeah, the stadium show strategy is actually sound logic. 30k people in a stadium vs 12-15k in an arena, way more tickets sold (more $$$), way more people buying merch (more $$$) you can often get really good deals renting a stadium instead of an arena because stadiums tend to be less in demand (once again, more $$$). And you can easily dress it up to look fuller then it is. I was never anywhere near as down on the concept as everyone else.

I think Carmella held onto the case the longest, but every other woman has cashed in almost immediately after winning it. Putting things into perspective - the longest women's Money in the Bank run was Carmella having it for 287 days. The second longest was Carmella having it for two days.

Should also note UFC 276 is that weekend at T-Mobile Arena and it's a HUGE card. Assuming that played a role in tickets not moving as quickly. I was wondering why WWE didn't move the show to that Arena. Not wondering any more. Yeah, as popular as WWE is, if UFC puts on a big enough card in Las Vegas, you’re not getting as much of a look-in.

Booking a stadium show in Vegas on UFC's annual big weekend was an interesting choice. I wonder if they would've had more success elsewhere.

They simply don't have the roster right now to justify so many stadium shows.

Cody's first grand mouthpiece spokesman job for WWE and it's immediately moot lmfao, of course it is
Not really shocked the idea of "MORE STADIUM SHOWS" is starting to lose its luster really fast. The UFC show probably didn't help, but Money in the Bank isn't exactly Summerslam. Honestly I thought Cody's big spiel was going to be FOR Summerslam, the fact it was for MITB I was like "Wait, really?"

So much for that stadium strategy! Well that is kinda cool (I just watched the Halloween Havoc '98 OSW so that helps) Wonder if this was Mania 7 all over again?

If so cant really blame them because UFC cards can be either great or crap

When’s the last time WWE did this venue? I could be wrong but I don't think they ever did, most shows were at the Thomas & Mack Center.

I think putting MITB in a stadium was always a bit optimistic on WWE's behalf. It's a fun PPV, but it doesn't have the name draw of a Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, or SummerSlam.

If so cant really blame them because UFC cards can be either great or crap They knew the UFC was running but not the card. However, most UFC shows have been selling out almost instantly so the effect was going to be felt really independent of the card. It's Vegas and fans know it's going to be a good card.

Crazy. I think this is WWE's first event ever at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It has housed so many historic wrestling events.
