Apparently Watson settled all but 4 of his cases.

Apparently Watson settled all but 4 of his cases. Wow, didn’t really expect this with how everything looked leading up… are the Browns going to get off easy?! (There’s a joke… I don’t want to make it)

He has a list of some of the grossest trauma related injuries I’ve ever heard. Blood pooling in all of his muscle cavities, bone on bone pretty much everywhere in his lower body

Came back to get one more ring, got it, dude definitely needed to peace out, his body is a wreck more so than most. Barring a trade it's essentially gonna be Cameron Brate's job to lose imo

I feel like there's been too many of these this off season Over the last year there has been a lot of young deaths in the NFL. Even retired guys like Marion Barber who was only 38 To be clear, we have had a real tough last couple of years as an entire species. The US has been particularly shit at dealing with the psychological damage the last couple of years have had. Combine that with a subgroup of individuals who were already prone to have CTE-related issues and one should expect more self-medication or worse.

Looks like it will only be for a couple of games. I'm ok with that. I just don't want to see them return full time. I know I'm in the minority of Patriots fans but I perfer the current uniforms (although they should lose the blue pants). After all they won 6 Super Bowls with the Flying Elvis. It probably has to do when I was growing up. I associate the old unis with being on the ass end of one of the biggest ass whoopings in Super Bowl history, all those years when I couldn't watch a home game on TV because they never sold out, those 1-15 and 2-14 seasons, sexually harassing a female reporter, the scumbag owner blaming the reporter for being harassed, playing in a stadium that was inferior to many high school fields and generally being the doormat and laughing stock of the NFL. Why do you want go back to that? 95% of my favorite Patriots memories came in the blue. Besides, the name Patriots refers to the Colonial Army in the American Revolution. The Colonials wore blue, the BRITISH wore red.

Defending the Nasty Man? Good luck It's gross and awful that the Players Association is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Deshaun Watson and defending him, but that's the job of the union - and really any union in professional sports - to defend their members despite whatever damning allegations they may be facing. The NFLPA has done this before on a much more significant scale. Nine years ago, the NFLPA filed grievances against the New England Patriots on behalf of AARON HERNANDEZ for Hernandez's 2013 base salary and his 2014 salary and workout bonus, and for the final installment of his signing bonus. This is all while he was in jail awaiting trial for murder. The union quote at the time was "On behalf of all players, it is our responsibility to protect the rights in the collective bargaining agreement. We are not tone-deaf to what the allegations are in this case, but for the benefit of all players, there are important precedents here we must protect." So the next time somebody says, "I can't believe the union is defending this guy!" remember players associations in the past have defended a literal murderer because that's their job.

Everything’s fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. Definitely shouldn’t have traded him for the #10 pick in the draft. We’re good here.
