Is he going to another hospital or rehab facility in Buffalo? Or is he outright returning back to his home? Either way, that they felt okay discharging him is a big positive sign.

PFT's Mike Florio said yesterday that there is a "growing sense" that Sean McVay will step down from the Rams' head coaching job. "My understanding it's not because of burnout or he wants to get into TV. He won a Super Bowl and now he's looking at a multi-year rebuild that he just doesn't want to be a part of," Florio said. If true, that's a pretty scathing indictment on McVay. He's 36 years old, a year removed from winning the Super Bowl, boasts a career .612 winning percentage, yet at the first sign of trouble, he's getting out of dodge. The Rams are probably 6-8 years from being good again...they mortgaged everything.

Arizona has fired Kliff Kingsbury. The Arizona GM has also left. Kingsbury will either find a cushy job as a coach in college (where he was actually not that good if you look back on it. He finished 35-40 and was fired, and was about to take the offensive coordinator job at USC before the Cardinals came calling), or he'll land in an NFL offensive staff. If Kingsbury stays in the NFL, I could see him landing in Kansas City with his former Red Raider Patrick Mahomes under the watchful eye of Andy Reid, or possibly in New England with the head coach who drafted him in the sixth round back in 2003. I can see Kilff in KC if Eric Bieniemy gets a Head coaching job somewhere else. Then again, I've felt like Eric Bieniemy has been "this close" to getting a head coaching gig and then doesn't for the last 3-4 years.

The problem with that is Matt Nagy returned to be the QB coach after Chicago fired him..Mahomes loves Matt Nagy so he's probably the OC if Bienemy is gone. Also lets talk about fun stuff, Mahomes is winning the MVP right?

Because he was involved in creating said situation and bailed when the bill came due. Has one rough year and flees into the night? Nah, that's a bitch move

In reality if he were to hang around for it, he probably ends up fired and doing a number on his image and record. This is about preserving his chance at the next job.

I forget if today is usually considered "Black Monday" or if it's the day after the Super Bowl.

They also had a ton of injuries and who knows if Seattle will be as good next season or if Purdy legit is the answer for the 9ers. I get why he doesn’t want to lose a bunch and mess up his record/deal with a rebuild but when you’re a big part of why the Rams are in the hole it’s a ho move to roll out. lol. I’m sure that most teams would mortgage their future for a good 5 year or so run though. 🤷🏻♂️ I’ll bet the Rams are actually decent next season with or without him.

If McVay leaves, do you think Dallas chucks McCarthy out the door and tries to bring him in?

If McVay leaves, do you think Dallas chucks McCarthy out the door and tries to bring him in? Depends on how the playoffs go. If not very good, then it's entirely possible. Jerruh is not known for his patience.

Yeah, McVay leaving is in the bitch move category but he has his picks of where he wants to go and when he wants to coach again so he def isn't unhireable He will probably land with a cushy announcing gig job and get the urge to coach again in about 2 years or so. McCarhthy gets bounced early, he's getting fired
