About that midcredits {Spoiler}I know some have assumed that Kamala polymorphed into Carol, but it appears that they swapped places, and the bangle sent Kamala to whatever reaches of space Carol was in... which neatly sets up whatever it is that's going to happen in The Marvels.

Plus the costume and hair was slightly different. If she changed it up in space Kamala wouldnt know and would morph into classic Carol. Non spoilers. I enjoyed the episode. The superhero stuff bored me a bit. The stuff with her family and friends was great. I guess with how they have spent so much time on them thats the stuff I wanted more of now. The showdown was cheesy to me but with how this is aimed more at a younger audience it felt appropriate.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Well now we are really gonna start kicking up the Mutant talk now.
The easiest solution IMO is that Mutants have been here the entire tme just there was not alot of them beforehand and Xavier is mentally blocking them from the rest of the world and now more and more of them are popping up.

I did like the family more than anything

{Spoiler}Why do I have a feeling that both mutants and Inhumans will be introduced as the results of the Kree tinkering with genetics overtime and maybe mutants bring a natural mutation of Inhumans that wasn’t meant to occur.

{Spoiler}Watched the final episode, really enjoyed it. But my previous complaints about the pacing of the series still stand. This really felt like the type of story they should've been telling around episode three. Kamala as a teenage heroine of Jersey City. All that stuff with the wedding, then the trip to Pakistan, it all felt like unnecessary side quests. All this build-up for the Clandestine, and how they can destroy the Earth, and in the end Damage Control winds up being the big bad. It felt like shades of the schizophrenic storytelling of Iron Fist season one to me.
Like, Zoe is the perfect example of this. A character who was barely relevant to the first episode, then disappears with barely a mention for the rest of the series, only to show up out of nowhere as a major part of the finale. And I say this as a fan of the character, the issue where she subbed for Kamala as Ms. Marvel in volume four is one of my favorites. But she just felt like an afterthought they shoved into the spotlight at the last minute here.

I enjoyed the series. It wasn't perfect but I think it tried to capture some of what makes Ms Marvel special. Some of the stories felt like they needed more fleshing out and breathing room. The season probably could have used another 2 or 3 episodes because they actually crammed a lot of plot into those six episodes. It reminded me a bit of the breakneck pace of Legend of Korra. That may seem odd to say because compared to some superhero shows there wasn't a lot of action. That said, I thought it was a decent introduction for those who don't know the character.
{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I was also thrilled when she finally embiggened. It might not be the same as the comic but it was close enough.

Just finished the last episode: {Spoiler}Holy shit, that was fantastic!
Overall, the stuff I don't enjoy about the Spiderman films is actually this show's biggest selling point, being the family and friend interactions. The heritage moments were not a turn-off for me, in fact, it was some of the most interesting stuff in the show. The best part about Disney Plus is that Marvel Studios can slow down and tell their origin stories without having to rush everything through a 3 hour film. If this had been a movie, it basically would've been the first episode and the last two, but compressed down. And that would've hurt it. As a six episode mini-series, we were given time to meet and grow to like these characters and it made the final episode feel earned.
I've never read the comics, but I was marking out when Kamala's mom gave her the suit. And I was happy crying through the scenes where her father gave her the name "Ms. Marvel" and when she learned about her mutation. I don't think it would've had as a big an impact on me if it weren't built up over several episodes as the payoff.
The other great thing about Marvel Studios producing these themselves, rather than outsourcing like the older shows, is that we don't cheated on the effects and the cool fights. Everything about this and the series' before it screamed "movie quality production". They really hit it out of the park on this one and I'm pumped for The Marvels.

Mother of f***ing god did I love that last episode. The costume, the moment for her to be a hero, the teaser moment. Oh god!

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} They keep teasing us with The X-Men {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}they used the 90's x-men theme and not the movies theme, so I'm hoping its that continuity they bring in for it, yes the movies had some bright spots (jackman, liev schreiber's sabretooth, both xavier's.) but a fresh ish start is needed for the x-men franchise

They should make a series about a girl who who receives delicious ice cream based superpowers and call it Ms. Carvel.

I can't see them tying themselves to the mess that Fox made, let alone a cartoon from the early 90s. I think the riffs from the cartoon theme in this and Dr. Strange were specifically to elicit a sense of nostalgia from many of us. It could also low key be reminding people of the series since they are planning to continue it in cartoon form. I loved the moments with the theme but MCU will go their own way. {Spoiler}
{Spoiler}
{Spoiler}Also, I think this is lowkey the death of Inhumans in the MCU. They tried the series that failed (though I did like some parts of it), they tried it on tv with Agents of Shield. However, the Inhumans were always the silver medal behind mutants. Now that they have the movie rights for the mutants, I expect Inhumans will be forgotten as far as the MCU goes.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Inhumans work best as an isolated community that rarely interacts with the outside world. Trying to make them the new mutants was dumb and purely a spiteful business decision.

So they tried to make the Inhumans like the X Men which is why a lot of the new gen Inhumans have mutant like abilities.
