Dishonorable mentions: Roman vs Taker (WM 33) It felt like a massive tease that Taker was retiring and the match felt slow & plodding. What irked me the most was that this should have set up for Roman turning heel after supposedly retiring a legend like Taker. Instead, no heel turn at all. What a waste! I could literally rant all day about how the promo Roman cut the night after was the best one of his entire career to that point which was undercut first by the commentary team being all “WE’RE IN BIZARRO WORLD, MAGGLE!” and then again by Roman’s promo the next week where he was like “I felt bad for that, waaaah” before Braun justifiably killed him and birthed “I’m not finished with you!”.

God damn, 2014-18 babyface Roman was a disaster. This boy had 3 WM main events in a row that are considered among the worst ever (with the guys he worked with deserving some blame too)

I wouldn’t even really consider 27, honestly, too much of an asterisk there with Miz’s concussion. Ever watch the Miz 24/7 that came out a few months ago? Poor guy was knocked goofy to the point he can’t remember it. Am I remembering it correctly, Cena got concussed in the first couple of minutes of the match (or at least got knocked loopy enough to throw him a step or two off for the duration) while Miz got legit knocked unconscious when his head bounced off the concrete for the double count-out spot? I definitely remember Miz stumbling around for the finish clearly in no condition to be in the ring. Also, imagine winning in your first (and likely only) WrestleMania main event and getting KO'd so badly you have no memory of it, how shitty is that?

The unnecessary HHH title run and WM32 main event summed up his career post-WM18 for me. There was no need for it.

The unnecessary HHH title run and WM32 main event summed up his career post-WM18 for me. There was no need for it. To be fair, I think the reason for it was trying to salvage a WrestleMania main event storyline due to a large percentage of guys who were out with injuries. Prior to this, Triple H hadn't won the title in almost 7 years, and I think by this point in his career he didn't want the title either.

The unnecessary HHH title run and WM32 main event summed up his career post-WM18 for me. There was no need for it. It's such a bummer that WM30 Triple H was so good when so many of his late stage matches weren't. Maybe because the Bryan match wasn't like 27 minutes long for no goddamn reason.

Nah, there were still a variety of different ways to go with the booking even with injuries (you had Bray Wyatt doing nothing at WM32 for example), and I cannot believe Trips wasn't in Vince's ear politicking for another run, just because he wanted to still be relevant and put on another 50 minute snoorefest for no one other than himself.

I'm going to breakdown all the matches from my favorite/most tolerable to worst/least favorite, with the last one being the one I voted on.
Disappointing but still good. 35 Women's 3 way: Maybe not quite live up to the hype since it's "first all female Wrestlemania main event" but still an enjoyable match.
Just kinda there. 38 Brock vs Roman 3: maybe still too new since I do not remember much of it, but did not live up to "biggest Main event ever". 32 Roman vs HHH: mainly not remembered well since it was the end of a very LONG show and just the inevitable Roman wins moment. 29: Rock vs Cena 2: not nearly as memorable as their first match that was supposed to be "once in lifetime".
Let's just get this over with. Brock vs Roman 2: finisher finished finisher finisher... and more finishers! And worst of all Brock retains which was at the height of "tired of Brock holding title hostage" phase.
Heartbreaking to watch. 33 Undertaker vs Roman: undertaker just was not there this night and Roman was not the guy (no pun intended) to assist him to a great last match. Despite it not being his retirement moment, the scene of him leaving the hat, coat, and gloves in the ring and saluing the crowd as the show ends saver this from being in the "terrible" category.
Snoozefest. 25 HHH vs Orton. Let's make the blood feud involving McMahon family into a "will hhh get DQ to loss the title".
What the F was that?. 27 Cena vs Miz. Despite being champion and the winner Miz was treated like the third wheel. The match originally ended on double-countout. And it was more or less just setting up next year's big match.
While Cena vs Miz was terrible here, it's just my second least favorite Wrestlemania main event overall as I dislike 9 Hulk winning in 20 seconds more.

There’s no reason 26, 30 and 31 should be left out of this list. That makes the poll unfair.
