Unless I have missed something, Stephanie is a normal, level headed, relatable human being. By all accounts she’s a gem of a person, people have spoken poorly of her work when she lead creative but pretty much everyone I can recall speaks really highly of their actual personal interactions with her. Although the three times I can recall she was actually in charge of booking a show before I lost track of these things (WWE late 2000, Smackdown 2002, RAW first half of 2005) were pretty solid to great times for the shows in question.

I always just remember her telling John Morrison his "We're Gonna Eat Your Lunch" tagline was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard, but let him run with it, anyway, because he insisted on using that.

Well now that it’s been confirmed that triple h is is charge of creative I’m more enthusiastic then I was because if he can repeat the good parts of his NXT and push the people he knows can get over, then maybe not immediately but the product on TV won’t be boring and will make some sense.

I'm not expecting much to change in terms of WWE's presentation under Stephanie - remember that the period where seemingly every tag team was "Team *blank*" in an attempt to appeal to Twilight fans was her idea - but it should still be a step up from Vince's bizarre corporate sundowning.
And Triple H has his own issues in terms of creative (feuds going too long, matches going too long and relying too heavily on finisher kickouts, the need for seemingly everyone to have a choreographed "epic" entrance) but he's still undoubtedly gonna better than Vince, whose issues have been evident for decades.
I'm not expecting things to get better immediately and it's gonna take a proven track record of quality shows to get me to watch regularly again. But overall I'm hopeful.

I think the most noticeable change, if it happens, will be verbiage. Vince made everything sound contrived and forced. If suddenly announcers and wrestlers start talking like normal people, then you know behind the scene changes are legit.

I dont think you'll see any noticeable changes for at least a year. That's usually how things work in a big switch of business.

So we do or we don't like Kahn? Last I heard, everyone hated him because he convinced McMahon to release everyone.

So we do or we don't like Kahn? Last I heard, everyone hated him because he convinced McMahon to release everyone. Ehhhhhhh, depends on how badly they need to cut talent budgets for his financial malfeasance. We've all kind of taken it for granted that Vince isn't going to Tony Soprano/backseat this thing, but, if I were to wish for anything, it's that I never have to hear to word 'stupendous' spoken with a straight face again. It would be stupendously ill-conceived if they tried to make that happen. He's in enough hot water with the SEC, keep him as far away from the company as possible. And people like Theory to fall down the card and get a much slower push. Ehhhhhhhhhh, Theory had a good run in NXT with The Way, I don't think he's going to get left out in the cold. Although I would be really interested to see if they play off him being Vince's chosen one on camera now that Vince is gone... They're running MSG, make it one free medium Pepsi. What better olive branch to CM Punk? One thing Meltzer cautioned in regards to potential changes is that Stephanie’s vision for and understanding of pro wrestling is largely influenced by her father, so it’s quite possible that some Vince philosophy remains. I suspect things like the announcers not being allowed to say Drew McIntyre's name without saying "The Scottish Warrior" first came from Stephanie. She was Chief Branding Officer, and that seems to me like attaching a brand name to Drew. Otherwise, what does a Chief Branding Officer actually do?

I remember the biggest complaint around her during those times was that Stephanie tended to overuse soap opera style relationship drama in her stories. Just too many bad boyfriends and cheating girlfriends and jealous exes as the focal point of a feud.

I'm not expecting a huge, seismic shift in the presentation tonight apart from the announce table which should be more animated and natural-sounding than previously. Camera work might take a little while to change, partly because nobody under Dunn knows really how to do anything different - though, tonight, if they've got an MSG crew working, it could be WWE's way of getting a control "look" against which to measure Dunn's work and make necessary changes for in future.
I'm not seeing too much of the booking being dropped or swerved for now. As the creative team bring more of their ideas to Trips, we may briefly see a "Vince done this" or "This is Trips's stuff" but the shift can be a little gradual. Looking for a couple more babyface turns in the offing.

It is more of the little things people will start to gradually notice.
Like I have see next to no one mentioned out...but New Day on SD came out in street clothes and not their ring gear which they would have done under Vince.

Have an MBA and studied business history a bit. While I know crap all about the wrestling business, 2 headed power structures never work and it ALWAYS ends with one ultimately coming out on top.
With Stephanie already being the Chairwoman, and having voting shares (Khan has zero) and the support of her father (who still owns the majority of voting shares), it will be her.
If things regarding misconduct issues start emerging with Steph and Triple H, I will bet my house that this entire thing was orchestrated by someone in the company. It does mirror other hostile corporate takeovers, where execs just start falling one by one. In the span of 6 months, Hunter, Steph, Shane, and VKM all lost their jobs in one way. Two of them got their jobs back, but this seems way too coordinated to be a coincidence. Again, just me speculating.

I just want them to be a consistently good product again. And WWE simply hasn’t been for decades. I am will watch WWE again if it can achieve that. And while AEW hasn’t been perfect, to me at least they’ve been consistent great since it started. It has raised the bar for me on what a compelling wrestling show is supposed to be. If WWE could get anywhere near that level, then I’ll give it again. Having more compelling wrestling shows out there is better for the industry as a whole.
