I mean the Varsity Blondes have been goobers everytime they appear on main television. So it will be a while for them to get any credibility. Even jobbers get some heat. I have the same feeling about Private Party where they are riding beating the Young Bucks in 2019 and nothing else.

Might be safe to put Anthony Ogogo on this list, too. Probably for the best. Guy was not that good Do you think he has a future?

I didn't watch the match because I just turned over to play a game until it was over, so I don't know how well he did or didn't do, but Ogogo seemed like a case of thinking if he could 'get it' he'd be a big star and then he just kinda underperformed. It's good to have connections to wrestling schools and shit, but it's probably better if they can emphasize working on taking people who've gotten their fundamentals down on the indies and making projects of them. Ogogo doesn't really stand out as seeming like a 'the future' kind of guy next to the up-and-comers AEW actually has, and I think the fact he's vanished feels like there's a chance AEW has realized the same thing.
Ogogo still has a chance with the Ricky Starks feuds, if he wastes it, then he will be stuck in Dark forever...

I think it’s important when it comes to Ogogo to remember that he has (according to cagematch) had less than 30 matches. He’s still very young into his career, and still relatively young in wrestling age (he’s 33). In my opinion he is improving, and I think when he eventually starts having more “proper matches” and gets used to being in the ring for a long time he will improve even more.

I'm convinced Kip Sabian is going to be sitting with a box on his head forever. He at least has name being mentioned again, and seems like they're setting up him stalking PAC all over the world, not expecting much out of it, but there's a hint of something.

Man, Kip Sabian is the wrestler I most want to be like.
I'd have a green card, paid a big salary to just show up at arenas wearing box on my head and not do any bumps. That's Workin'.

for Andrade, I've said it before dude's entire career has been potential... that he's never managed to actually seem to capitalize on for some reason, and not ALL of that is on the booking.

Jesus H, these comments about Miro being better off in WWE are ****ing delusional and that includes the man himself if he genuinely believes it. Andrade I could maybe see, though even then it's not like he's languishing on Dark.

There is probably like...10 male and 5 female wrestlers in AEW who right now should be featured wayyyyyy more than they are but there is just not enough tv time to go around with the roster the size that it is. Thing is, every single one of them makes AEW better, but its getting to the point where them being in AEW is an actual detriment to their career, even if every time they appear it goes great and they get great reactions, have great matches, and are creatively getting to do what they always wanted. It's just that they're not getting it enough. Its such a tough spot. Jesus H, these comments about Miro being better off in WWE are ****ing delusional and that includes the man himself if he genuinely believes it. Andrade I could maybe see, though even then it's not like he's languishing on Dark. Honestly, with the apparent shift in direction over in the WWE, I can see why some wrestlers, despite their past experiences with the company, might be getting their head turned.

Only thing I’d point out to both of them and the twitter user themselves is that AEW didn’t sign them away from WWE
WWE released them (After both requested it if I recall) and then AEW signed them once able to
I like both guys and do agree they both should be featured more. AEW roster bloat is obviously real but they manage it for guys like Moxley, Punk etc. and they may be better used in WWE now so I can see why they might be tempted to go back if offered.
However passive aggressively liking tweets on Twitter about it is probably a good way to further ensure you aren’t utilised more

Honestly, with the apparent shift in direction over in the WWE, I can see why some wrestlers, despite their past experiences with the company, might be getting their head turned. There's a decent amount of talent you can argue that AEW has squandered. Miro is not one of them - guy is one of the most protected upper carders in the company who's straight-up lost a one-on-one match twice. If he genuinely feels he's being squandered in AEW compared to WWE (a run which peaked 7 and a half years ago when he rode a tank to the ring on the way to lose to Cena at Mania, and afterwards mainly consisted of repeatedly getting his legs cut out from under him any time he got too over) then IMO he's being a gigantic baby.

Up until his injury last fall he was absolutely used 1000x better in AEW than WWE. But then he was out for so long and we don't know how long he was healthy and waiting to come back. When he did come back he got a monster reaction, and also at Forbidden Door. And he hasn't really done anything since. I'd be getting a little pissed off myself. Dude was held back for years in the WWE when he knew how hot he would be with the whole Rusev Day schtick, but he was never given the chance. Can you blame him if he's starting to feel that history might be repeating itself now? I'm not lying when I say that if they wanted to, if they committed to Miro like some others on AEW tv have been committed to in the last few months, the dude would be in the top 5 of the company, easily. Look, charisma, promo skills, moveset, crowd connection, presentation...the dude checks every single box.

He's currently in a feud with Malakai, it's just that (as is usual with AEW) the feud is taking a long time to develop. It's not like he's been aimlessly floating around the Internet shows padding his record while barely making television. Could they be doing more with him? Almost certainly. But this is still a damn sight better than his only TV time being yet another story where his wife cheats on him.

Yeah, I totally acknowledge that even now he is being used better than in his years in WWE; just trying to make sense of the dude liking a tweet that states otherwise. I can see why he might be a bit peeved, doesn't mean I agree with him. But if he is genuinely feeling this way then that pisses me off, 'cause he is one dude that AEW should not be having this kind of problem with.

It might be that, coming up through WWE, he sees a monster as someone who comes out every week and smashes people. Whereas AEW are taking a different approach to protecting him, limiting ring time so when he shows up it's an EVENT. It's 2 different approaches, AEW doesn't generally have people run through jobbers week after week unless it's on Dark, and don't want to sacrifice midcard talent like that. Wardlow had a bit of that, but now he's onto longer matches, so they'd have been doing similar angles twice a show. It's philosophies, they do need to talk to him about some compromise. But right now, personally, I'll take cryptic promos then a monster arriving to The Factory or the Wingmen getting bodied week after week.
