Just about every character in Until Dawn.

Junpei Iori in Persona 3. He's not only kind of a loser and moron (and the game treats him as such to be fair) but also voiced by Vic Mignogna. There's always the option to play in Japanese but outside of the sexpest the rest of the English voice cast is wonderful.

Oh boy, buckle up buckaroos:
-Hunter from Spyro the Dragon remakes: I hate this piece of shit, they made him worse by making him this weird "rad" dude.
-Marie from Persona 4 Golden: Literally the only thing keeping this game from being my all time favorite. Cringe character, forced friendship and stupid ass dungeon.
-Kimari from Final Fantasy X: I don't believe I've ever seen a more useless character in any game ever.
-Starkiller from the Force Unleashed: The most fanfic character to ever come from a non fanfic work.
-Ma Chao from the Dynasty Warriors series: I don't know why but he just comes off as a big creepy asshole.
-That guy from GTA San Andreas with the drones: f*** youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
-The entire cast of DmC: Everone sucked. HORRAY. Better gameplay than Devil May Cry 2, but I dropped it faster just because of how much I hated them all.

I'll never understand how this guy has such a big fanbase who wants to see him brought back into post-Legends canon. TFU and TFU2's stories are terrible and the only thing good about Galen is his voice actor, Sam Witwer. And he's gone on to much better roles in Star Wars like Darth Maul.
Unironically a lot of the same people who love Starkiller call Rey a Mary Sue.

WWE 2K18: Why am I feuding with frickin' Baron Corbin every damn week?! By Week 5, I went outside the ring, grabbed a chair and beat the shit out of him. I'll take the DQ, thank you very much.

Yeah, Kimahri doesn’t offer much unless you go specifically around the sphere grid to max him up, and Yuna can cover a lot of his bases later in the game. He doesn’t bother me as much as Eiko in IX. Her summons are bleh and I always thought her design was a bit too cloying for me.

TFU 1 has a meh story with a bad protagonist, but I admit I did enjoy some moments of it. TFU 2 is just a bunch of nonsense tho. What the f*** was that.

Gau from Final Fantasy VI used to be on this list for me, but I've grown to like him since I learned about his sad backstory.
That and Gabranth basically adopting him as his son in Dissidia Opera Omnia is really adorable.

I like Kimahri alright, but yeah, he's sort of underbaked. At least Lancet makes getting his blue magic easier than it is in a lot of other games, but he's kind of too balanced. His point in the sphere grid lets him easily go multiple different paths, but he's never going to be as good at black magic, for instance, as Lulu is. He has Piercing on his weapons, but he doesn't do nearly as much damage as Auron does. You are generally better off focusing on party members with clearer specialties.
At least he gets some plot relevance with Seymour, however minor, though. I love FF9, but Amarant is kind of astonishingly irrelevant. I am wondering if stuff got cut for time or what, because he just has so little going on for him from a character standpoint. In a game with Quina (who I actually really like), he's still the party member with the least relevance to the plot.

The Book of Love from It Takes Two. It's something from 80s American cartoon transplanted without irony into a 2021 game and nearly endangers the enjoyment of the game out of sheer obnoxiousness.

It's kind of funny that some of them make him just this absolute beast, and Mog with his best armor is almost invincible. Like, if you were going to pick two characters that are relatively to make really powerful, you'd be forgiven for not thinking it'd be those two.

But he doesn’t excel at anything specific like the others do in battle. By the time I’ve got Yuna her black magic and Auron his best weapons I’m barely using Blue Boy. With Amarant I remember people thinking he was going to be this Vincent like cool badass during IX’s prerelease marketing. Nobody talked about him afterwards once it dropped.

All those dumb tribe members that Aloy has to rescue when they stupidly go off to hunt some giant robot dinosaur.

Going with Yosuke, apparently his original story was supposed to involve him coming to terms with his bisexuality (including a possible romance with Yu). But it was left on the cutting room floor because the guy in charge of the game, Katsura Hoshino, has a reputation of being homophobic and transphobic.
Fortunately, he's no longer with P-Studio, so there's at least a lot more of a chance that Persona 6 will have at least one queer character. Maybe even the protagonist.

The moron hostages in shooting games who pop out of nowhere, waving their arms about and tell you not to shoot, often right in the middle of a gun fight. If you wound up shot, that's on you. I shouldn't have to lose a life because of it.

I shouldn't have to lose a life because of it. This is why Virtua Cop was so innovative, because Sega introduced new kinds of visual mapping with the new tech so it was far easier honing in on enemies. That led to light gun games like Time Crisis and House of the Dead feeling way more satisfying.

Yeah, I never really vibed with Yosuke and anytime he came on screen it was more like ugh Kimahri sort of same boat. He was never really useful and f*** you if you didn't do anything for his Sphere Grid and then at the fight against Biran and Yenke

Kaiden in Mass Effect trilogy {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Played as Femshep during last play through, did not romance him at all..
No real issue with him in ME1.. let him live,
ME2 bit of a jerk … an ungrateful one at that too, c’mon man I could have saved Ashley instead of your sour ass (yeah I know Ashley acts same if it’s her that was saved)
Then in ME3.. still a bit of a jerk, but after that point in the game when he can rejoin the Normandy crew.. the way he acts during some meeting points comes off as a whiney teenage butt hurt cause Shepard won’t go out with him… and then, dude your not coming with us on any mission., I’m not wasting any dialogue options on you. I’d rather take James… at least he can be funny sometimes.
I don’t think I have had a play through this far with Male Shep to get to this point. So I don’t how he is at that point.
