It's easy to see that some former AEW fans have turned on AEW as soon as Triple H was allowed to take over the reins of WWE. That is horrific as AEW provided them an alternative when Vince was shitting the bed, and these people don't see as grateful, turning heel on AEW like it was the Vince McMahon era. There are SOME issues with AEW, and it can be solved with one tweak. Wait for Rampage to be two hours. It just needs to be two hours. I hope the Network can allow it. I love AEW equally as much as the new WWE, the issue is here that WWE just simply pumps out more quality content than AEW does due to the larger # of shows & how long they are, so I grow more attached to the new WWE as a result simply due to being around more. If I liked Paris equally as much as Orlando, but I was in Paris 700 times less, I would be more fond of Orlando. Problems with AEW/Rampage: 1) I cannot CANNOT get into a one-hour wrestling show. By the time I'm immersed, it's whisked away. 2) It's not up to snuff anyway 3) It will alleviate the clogged artery of the roster so the show breathes & everyone gets an opportunity. If Dynamite is the only show of AEW that's nice, it still doesn't compare to WWE anymore than a team with one superstar going against a team with 3. AEW cannot run by the strength of Dynamite alone. I dunno if you are being facetious or not, but AEW's women's division has been a very sore point since the company's inception basically. It has nothing to do about WWE right now, and more along the lines of Tony's views on women's wrestling are very, very, very poor. That's what he's getting called out on. And his public burials of talent that works for him. For everything bad about WWE, you didn't see Vince, Stephanie, or Triple H going into press conferences or media appearances burying talent that work for them, talking about how they aren't a draw, or how that division doesn't draw.

Hey Tony, then don’t send Britt out to the ring immediately afterwards to bury your champion. The fact that you won’t tell her to stop doing that constantly is mind boggling.

He’s not wrong.
As far as Rosa goes, she’s a basket case. She’s done more harm than good for the division. Both her and Britt have. It’s tone to go a different route.

You don't go onto business/media calls and bury current/former talent. Period. It's incredibly unprofessional. And the way he worded the entire thing just came across as incredibly scummy at best. Rosa isn't a good promo. We all know that. And she likely rubbed people the wrong way back stage. But Tony absolutely should not be going into media calls and talking about how she (their champion) isn't a draw. And this isn't the first time he's been this way with women. He needs to either step back as the person who does the calls, or take some PR classes at this point.

With Vince talent got buried on tv along with the Benoit treatment(Sasha and Naomi) which were watched by 2 million people on primetime, while TKs media appearance was checked by a hundred fans?

Also you don't need to give her eight minutes. Even just two on the stage would've been vastly preferable to what she got.

The infamous episode of the Steve Austin podcast where Vince buried Cesaro on his own streaming network so hard it's a spicy topic to this day. That's not to absolve TK, but let's not pretend that there isn't a history of WWE doing stuff. Hell, we can go into the Ultimate Warrior documentary if people are really feeling froggy.

Her best promo so far lasted like 90 secs, the thing is that thats her limit, beyond that she gets lost(see the Serena feud).

The women matches have done over 1 million since Rosa left, its like Rosa was part of the issue(from not being healthy to the Sandbag bit)

Too Swiss to have a connection with the audience even though he had one, yes.

I mean yeah I know they’ve had injuries but we’re always talking about how AEWs roster is so stacked that I feel like they should be able to put on a compelling one hour show very easily
And if you’ve not got enough big stars at one time, make the wrestlers you do have into big stars by giving them interesting storylines or characters

TK continues to f*** up when it comes to talking about women
From my perspective, it is a bad indictment on your womens roster. Yes, you are going for ratings but it is a piss poor cop out to say well she won't draw for 8 mins. She does't need 8, she only needs 2. Raw emotion like she had in the back would been felt on stage and received much better. You don't have to be a mic virtuoso to say you are injured and ready to rip heads off when you come back
Also I saw someone mention about the women not having an Ace. They do it can be Shida. You don't have to be good on the mic to be the Ace. Asuka and Io were HHH Aces and he presented them in a way larger than life that fed into the feuds that all they had to do was say 3 words and the crowd would pop. Same can be done for a few in AEW especially Shida
But yeah, TK needs to really start saying no comment on some of the shit with women. You don't say the quiet part out loud and that's going rub people in the back the wrong way especially your womens champ who is taking a hiatus from social media for her own mental

I mean, he publicly buried Big Swole and stated the reason she left the company was because she just plain sucked, which regardless of your thoughts on her as a person or a performer, is just a big no-no if you're in any influence of authority. That was the tipping point for me on him as a person/promoter. Everything since has just re-affirmed my feelings on him. Like Ben said, the dude needs a f***ing publicist. He just sounds ignorant a lot of the time. Also let's compare the number of things Vince has said, which some of you mentioned, are few and far between over the course of 20-30 years? I read 4 or 5. Now let's compare it to TK being clueless and stupid on TWITTER in the last THREE years. At this rate imagine where he'll be in 20-30 years. Also Vince said stupid shit in interviews (which he rarely gave for obvious reasons) or passive aggressively through commentary. Dude wasn't on f***ing media scrums and social media putting his foot in his mouth on the regular. Once Tony went into the Vince-esque realm of buying into his own hype, he started to ruin the product for me. Also how dare you make me say something pseudo-nice about Vince. I need a shower. Edit: Also I got flamed for this before, but I'll say it again, but this time I'll change AEW with TK. Tony Khan doesn't feel like he has a women's division because he wants to, he feels like he has a women's division because he HAS to. You can book the women the same as the men as far as stories go. Just tell them. Give them one. It's not hard. For some reason if you have a different set of genitals it just messes Tony up completely. Imagine a woman getting the story of hitting rock bottom, turning to the bottle, only to pull herself up, and over 2 years fight her way back to the championship she failed to get the first time. That's be f***ing cool. Or if someone like Thunder Rosa got the Kenny story of coming back from injury, and having to work back to who you were before you were injured. Or put someone else in that role if you don't like TR. Just give them something to sink their teeth into. Britt is a bitch, and Jade is sexy and dominant aren't enough.

The moment she left the women matches are magically drawing again, last nights women tag match was just a rematch of the previous one with just having Shida replacing Rosa.
Rosa was already toxic backstage given the recent stuff, if he was like Vince he couldve fired her right away but for some reason she still wants to give her 1 final chance because idk if HHH would be interested in someone with a toxic attitude(thats why Tessa never went back to WWE)
Supposedly TK said he will hit the reset button at the PPV, and well we will have to wait and see depending who will be the Women and TBS champs.

I don't think it's fair to blame the poorer women's ratings on Rosa. The show's ratings as a whole have been better the last couple of weeks and it just happens to coincide with Rosa needing to take time off for injury. Rising tide lifts all boats and whatnot.
