Look i know you’re a Punk fan but i mean come on either way nobody looks good coming out of this, Should Matt and Nick leak stuff to the Media? No. Should Punk air out all his dirty laundry in public? No but to act like this is all on the Bucks when it’s not, Punk’s apparently the one that can’t grow up, Punk’s the one who has Cabana living in his head rent free I’m not saying Punk wasn’t wrong, though. I’m in this thread saying he handled it wrong. I’m also not saying it’s all on the Bucks. All I was saying is that this is literally a two sided affair and people are calling for one side to be fired without a total view of what the hell is going on. You’re also going on one side though with Punk saying the Bucks leaked stuff when literally no one else said that |

The issue is while everyone is bashing Punk who went on a rant about something others brought up first and got sick of hearing about it. So he addressed it, yes he embarrassed the company who really Page, The Bucks and ext embarrassed him first by bring the topic up in the first place. There is so much unprofessionalism from both, that it isn't just Punk that should be blasted. I agree that NO Active roster member should have a EVP job or creative stroke. I knew that was a mistake from day one they did that. The more I hear about this, the more it making sense on why there was a rumored divide last year between Cody and the rest. While we know what Cody said on why he left AEW and his position. I feel it make sense now that there was way more to that. Than he being the pro that he is, isn't letting out because Cody is a professional. This whole situation seems to be a lot of people in the wrong and no rights.

The thing about the "leaks"... Not one news source stated that Punk got Cabana fired. Not one. They reported that Cabana wasn't getting his contract renewed, until the Bucks went to bat for him. The reports said it was "possible" that Punk had something to do with it, which reads to me like them asking the source "was it anything to do with Punk" and the source being "Iunno, maybe?"
So it's mostly in Phil's head.

Again the only reason why we heard the Bucks leaked stuff is because Punk decided to go scorched earth and we don’t even know if it’s true. So you say The Bucks brought it up first but they might not have, Punk has Cabana living in his head bringing Cabana up with no provocation |

First runs down the aisle to be met with more people than he's seen in his life, then sees his owner all bloody and finally might have seen Punk in a fight.

Also why do talkers like MJF and Ethan Page need a manager? That whole group looks like names picked out of a hat. I just want to throw in about this part that, based on their work on the indys together, MJF and Ethan Page as well as MJF and Stokley have AMAZING chemistry together. Like Heenan-Perfect-Flair type vibes where it just works in the full range in every way possible. |
