Not sure if postei but The Bucks shot down the " feelers" story The poster on the Meltzer boards stands by his story. He said the source that gave him this has sent him 40 different things in the past six months or so and 39 of them were confirmed true. Edit: and it’s also backed by another poster with sources there. It’s not surprising the Bucks would deny it to Meltzer, though. There’s also nothing wrong with them getting the sense of interest anyway, their contracts are up in about 15 months. They should use whatever leverage they can to get the best deals they can.

Half the time I look at this thread I misread muffins for "mufflers". Yes, as in that sort of muffler, not the car type. It honestly makes the story much better. And now I put on my fantasy-booker hat and started imagining what Dusty would be like in AEW. Imagine Dusty interacting with Danhausen lol "Eddie & Mox with the Plunda, baby!! WHO BE BAD, NOW?!" "Y'know The Lucha Bros. remind me of my team with, uh, Nakita Koloff. I did the Tornado like Fenix ,daddy." *Taz & Excalibur corpse*

The “feelers” story was always kinda bogus to me anyway. Why would The Bucks send feelers when the answer is already a yes. They nearly signed if AEW didn’t form and HHH would have them in a heart beat.

Unless the Bucks are expecting to get fired or somehow get out of their contracts, why send feelers now when you're locked down for another 15 months? If the last couple of months has proven only one thing, it's how quickly wrestling can change. Six months left, sure. Every wrestler should be approaching the major promotions for leverage if nothing else.

didn't he used to post here way back? Yep, and he’s mentioned in the FAQ section under the Rules page. His profile is still on the Members page, too. cheers, knew I wasn't going crazy.

They nearly signed if AEW didn’t form and HHH would have them in a heart beat. The original story I read was less of feelers directly to management and more venting to friends in the company with things they had issues with in AEW and indicating that they might look to make the switch when their contracts were up. This was pre-Punk scrum too.

This is just my personal, possibly baseless, opinion, but I think that the story of the Bucks "sending out feelers" is yet another example of the irresponsible journalism which was a major catalyst for Punk's meltdown in the first place.
Obviously, when CM Punk shows up in AEW and then Colt Cabana ceases being used, people are going to speculate. I'm certain almost everybody in that locker room had that thought, and maybe even made the occasional off-color comment or two. But, when the wrestling media starts reporting that "sources within AEW" (which we totally are never going to reveal...gotta protect our sources, you guys) have said that Colt was going to be fired until the Bucks stepped in and saved his job, it makes the speculation and surmise even more rampant. To an extent that it even started to affect CM Punk, who obviously believed that the Bucks and/or Hangman were the ones talking to the media. Except the media outright denied that after the incident (while still, obviously, not disclosing their sources).
The same thing has to be going on here. The Bucks have a lot of friends within WWE. They would be foolish not to at least see what WWE has to offer when their contracts expire. It's likely that they've mentioned that to their friends within the company. But, now, the wrestling media (against the backdrop of the Bucks being suspended for something that the Court of Public Opinion has, by and large, adjudicated them not guilty of) has started reporting that the Bucks are SENDING OUT FEELERS because they're INTERESTED IN LEAVING AEW!!!!!!!!!!!
It's yellow journalism and I, personally, am f***ing sick of it.

I would expect people nearing the end of their contract to put the feelers out even if they were happy. Orton dropped all those hints about AEW and he's a WWE Lifer if ever there was one.

Probably more of a “What will they sign us for?” question as opposed to a “Will they sign is?”.

Why does Lawlor look like Joey Janella in that pic? Or am I just blind? Thats the joke. It is Joey haha. Also I had a wrestling dream where Fandango showed up and took me to pleasure....why does this dream sound familiar? Well.... I should be shot for missing that one. LOL

I wish I had wrestling dreams. My dreams are so mundane. I wake up at my cabin but when I exit all of a sudden it's a different cabin. This has happened three times this year. Reading this in Scruffy the Janitor's voice really enhanced the experience

I don't think I've had a wrestling dream, unless it was one of those really weird ones where it's overloaded of things and I forget because so much weird crap went on. Did have dreams where dogs and cats bit me. Always the same thing, get bit in the arm, wake up worrying about getting shots then realize that it was a dream... then wake up.
Not a good dream to have with one dog and three cats, even if they are vaccinated. Dog is fine. Cats are assholes to me despite me feeding them. As cats are, I suppose.

Are you sure it's not Ace Steel biting you? Would have been really prophetic, if that were the case. So many bitings in me dreams. Yet somehow I'd worry about it for a few minutes after waking up. And then sleep. For those weird but engaging dreams, I wake up, realize I can still sleep and try my best to fall asleep fast again. Not because I should get sleep before I actually need to wake up, but in the hopes the dream continues to get the weird plot resolved. Alas, it's usually another new dream that's as strange as the one before and the only saving grace is that I'll forget about it either way.

It sucks and it's a money sink, but I imagine TK's best action at this point is to pay Punk what's left of his deal up front, make him sign an NDA, and cut your losses. The guy ain't worth all this. AEW needs CM Punk, not Matt and Nick Jackson.

I doubt Punk, as of right now with the controversy, is going to be a game changer. A channel changer, maybe...

AEW needs CM Punk, not Matt and Nick Jackson. Cm Punk had a big initial boom and sold big merch numbers but AEW doesn't need him. Their rating is basically the same and some Hangman and Kenny led ppv sold as well if not better than Punk led ppvs short of his debut one. They do not need cm Punk. Especifically now that he nuked his reputation

Since we are talking dreams and wrestlers biting: I had a dream where I was eaten by SID. Not eaten with like a fork and knife or eaten like as a giant kebab. But eaten as if SID was a giant python. Storytime: At the time I was on Vicodin post surgery and it would cause me to lay on my back completely still and my dreams were borderline hallucinations of my lying there still while the world changed around me. It was also around Halloween so I was watching all sorts of horror movies while I was drugged up and recovering. I just finished watching the Nightmare on Elmstreet series(IMPORTANT STORY POINT). So I'm having this dream that I can't tell if it's a dream or not (aka trippin' ballz) and SID appears at the foot of the bed. His mouth just gets bigger and bigger (Just like Freddy did). He just starts to consume me starting at the feet. he's not biting or chewing, just slowly sliding up from my feet consuming my body. That was a total mindf$#* and I recall waking up in a sweat. I recall he was wearing the vest/undies combo. This was basically the face he was making while he was devouring me:
