I didn't think the match was that bad, to be honest. Perfectly watchable, imo. It was a decent match, just one in which one of the dudes looked like a dude that hadn't been on TV for for a long time and hadn't wrestled a match for months. It certainly wasn't a total stinker.
And it served it's purpose. Jericho further desecrated the legacy of RoH and a face failed to beat The Ocho. Nothing wrong there. As for pettiness, the only way that works is if Punk really was responsible for Cabana not being on TV and Punk being such a thin skinned twat that the very idea of Colt reappearing in an RoH stronghold to lose to Jericho is an affront to him.

Well that's rather stupid then.
They use him as a pawn instead of actually doing anything of significance with him. I don't expect to have him as a world champion of whatever, but it's rather dehumanizing to use someone in order to make someone else upset, if that was the intent.

Colt Cabana sure didn’t seem dehumanized on TV when he was clearly happy and explicitly tweeted that he loved wrestling afterwards. So I’m going to go with the idea that Colt was happy instead of the armchair psychology. |

Between the WON news and Hardy's interview, it certainly seems like the locker room doesn't agree with Punk. Add in Dax seemingly being shady and it really does look like Punk was voted off the island.
