Story they were going for is yeah Pac hates OC and doesn't respect him, and he had to cheat to win. I didn't like how the ending played out, but with how they're building that, OC has to be the one to dethrone Pac. Loss doesn't hurt OC as he will continue to be over no matter what, but maybe would have held off on this match? Yeah I still tend to think that OC wins the rematch and then finds himself in Ego’s warpath against the comedy gimmicks in AEW. But, I don’t disagree that we’re long past the point we’re it’s reasonable to expect OC to decisively win a feud, much less a championship. Only poorly booked feud he's had IMO is the HFO won (I don't consider the Cody stuff a feud). I mean, again, my solution would have been to hold off on this match since the whole idea is Pac doesn't respect OC |

My thing is, things don't become a trend until they actually do and you risk people starting to realize he's not winning title matches. I just wouldn't book him in another one unless you actually plan to have him win He's going to be over but there is a risk of hurting him and you just never know how fans can go from one mood to another Hey I'm agreeing with that point saying I would have done things differently. |

Yeah that's a terrible stat no matter how you put it but honestly if I were in an All Atlantic title match I'd be throwing that shit like I was Bob Sapp. I don't wanna wrestle in f***ing Zanzibar all on my own as a global ambassador with Michael Nakazawa on the phone as my only friend. Being champion of the whole Atlantic probably sucks fat dicks honestly. Too much work.

He seems to lose focus during title matches. I know he fancies himself as "Fresnly Squeezed". But in this situation, maybe better to concentrate.

I cited a feud Cassidy won, not his only accomplishment in three years, just a good example of one, that's putting words in my mouth lol Fair enough but just looking at the feuds he's had since... - Involved in a mini-feud with Cody over the TBS title, lost. - Won the feud with Miro and Kip, I'll give you that one. - Quickie title feud with Kenny and PAC where he was made to look like an idiot multiple times over en route to being screwed out of the belt, nothing whatsoever came of it. - Spent an absolute goddamn eternity feuding with Matt Hardy, lost. - Don't think he actually had a feud between Matt and PAC. - Lost two title matches for separate belts to PAC in this current feud. It's not like he's been quietly running up big wins all this time, he barely does anything. |
