its baffling to me that none of the best friends have gotten anything this whole time
not even a super short run for what they did during the times without fans
its just weird, especially with how over OC has been forever now

Luckily for him his gimmick has allowed him to not be hurt by the losses but he's shown he wants this title and just like Darby before he won the TNT title, you are basically at the point where he needs that W or don't bother continue to run him in title matches

Been three years, if they were going to win something, they would have done so by know. They carried the company during the pandemic and this is the thanks they get. Keep your energy and belief when they are webshow fodder from here on out |

Orange Cassidy is one of those rare dudes who doesn't need championships or even major wins to be over as hell. That's a very rare commodity in wrestling. But you also can't take it for granted.
I'd love to see him get a reign with even just the Trios or AAC, but it's not like he exactly needs them either. I do think Trent and Chuck should at least get a "thank you reign" with the tag or trios belts though.

Yeah I still tend to think that OC wins the rematch and then finds himself in Ego’s warpath against the comedy gimmicks in AEW. But, I don’t disagree that we’re long past the point where it’s reasonable to expect OC to decisively win a feud, much less a championship. |

My thing is, things don't become a trend until they actually do and you risk people starting to realize he's not winning title matches. I just wouldn't book him in another one unless you actually plan to have him win He's going to be over but there is a risk of hurting him and you just never know how fans can go from one mood to another |
