I'm glad I stopped using Twitter in 2016. Then you're missing the point on it by just saying it's because of who she is dating. Serena is dating to or married to a scumbag (I forget which) in Marty Scurll, but doesn't get shit because she just never talks about it/never has anything to do with him on screen. Saraya gets it because not only is she dating a scumbag and has scumbag parents who got outed for abusing trainees, but she embraces that aspect. She has her scumbag abuser boyfriend's theme song played on TV enabling him to get paid, she has had her abusing trainer parents on both All Outs, she not only defends them but defends their viewpoints/actions, etc. She sucks! It's not the first time and it won't be the last.

But forget about her, what about Miro? Can he be The Redeemer in TNA or WWE?

I was so excited for Miro to get out of WWE, but it really seems that he is one of those guys who only has very specific visions for what he wants to do. And in his case, it seems that those visions were either beat everyone or be a cuckold which was exactly what he did in WWE.

Also just a reminder that Rusev encouraged CJ Perry to do everything she could to bury Ronda Rousey, joined in on it sometimes and implied he'd personally beat up Ronda if she tried to do anything about it. And this was all public on twitter.
Of course since Ronda was losing a popularity contest to Becky Lynch badly at the time he didn't get any pushback for it at all, but it's really indefensibly awful.

Miro should go to MLW, so they can give him a valet/manager and then run an angle where he gets cucked by Microman.
Seems like that's what he wants more than anything.

SRS: “They have not been on the same page whatsoever creatively, AEW or Miro. He had pitched earlier this year possibly wrestling Jon Moxley. I know they had considered or even wanted him to do the Casino gauntlet match. Neither one of those things happened. He has not wrestled. Now earlier this year when they had announced Meat Madness, they have hoped he would be in it. they found out he was pretty behind in his injury recovery and it didn’t happen. However, he is healthy based on what I heard.”
“Miro had originally signed with AEW in September 2020 and he signed a year and a half deal that wasn’t for an incredible amount of money. I did an interview with him and he talked about it. He said, ‘Yeah and I told Tony next contract would be big money,’ and it was. Seven figures from my understanding. But he signed that new deal in spring of 2022. So he has until spring of 2026 on his current deal.”

In an ironic twist, it will be revealed that Miro could have been let go earlier, but he had put in a stipulation in his contract that he could not be released on Rusev day.

I really don't understand why most of this is happening at all. No, you do not want to be the insane dictator that Vince was, but at some point you do have to be the boss. I don't know anyone without an agenda who would fault him for saying "Look, I'm paying you a lot of money. So do your job. I don't care if you're booked to job to every member of the Dark Order for the next 15 Saturdays - earn your paycheck"

Armchair analysis: he was trying to get fired and failing that, now he’s just asking to be released. Between injuries, things fizzling in AEW, amid his marriage not working out, I think he’s done with wrestling altogether. He just wants to wash his hands of it.

I've seen it on the indies, but at some point you just gotta say, some of these guys are literally bullying Tony. I'm not his biggest fan by any means but he's way too nice.

This is one of the things I will give TK crap for.
Its good to talk to wrestlers to know what they want. But at the end of the day if a wrestler is being a f***ing baby you have to make the ultimatum. He gotta work or get legal on his ass.

I don’t really need to see Rusev anymore. His AEW run soured me on him.

So, if Sapp got news about his release request, when do we get the follow-up? If Miro is on a seven-figure salary I'd show him the door. That's the type of money that can get you a (or several) serious, serious talent who'll contribute to the promotion. Or invest it on corporate salaries to boost the brand. I'm also surprised he'd be willing to sacrifice that, I can only guess WWE has tapped him up about returning.
Even if Miro returns to WWE, someone like this isn't going to make them any bigger/hotter than they have been. They've marketed/monetized their brand to almost the maximum level and I don't know what could boost that beyond the Cena retirement tour they have planned. Miro definitely isn't moving any needles for them.
For AEW, the ones you don't want to lose are ones who are going to have negative optics for the company. Losing a young project such as Garcia will look worse than losing a Miro, because Garcia has the feel of a homegrown guy not a prima donna like Miro who has been AWOL for much of his stay and doesn't feel like an AEW guy.
That's why renewing The Elite was crucial for AEW. Losing them to WWE would've been tantamount to ripping the soul out of the company and handing it to WWE.

I'd absolutely let Miro go and save the money. Even if he went to WWE and became the most popular and successful wrestler in the company (highly unlikely!) I wouldn't consider it a loss for AEW because he's never going to be that guy in AEW.

I actually dont see WWE picking him up - i get the vibe they see him as a pain to deal with

I don't know the terms of the contract where how much money AEW would save by releasing him. Depends on how much is guaranteed and it could be too much money as a lump sum versus just letting the deal end on its own. They could probably outright fire him for cause if he's refusing to go into work, which might also save them a lot of money as they likely wouldn't owe him any money. But that might also be TK being too nice for his own good or hoping it can eventually work.

I get the whole idea of "Wrestlers should be paid more" and "Take the Billionaire for every cent you can", but if you want me to want that for you, you actually have to do something, not just sit at home and constantly say "That doesn't work for me, Brother!".

Well he certainly won't be getting a seven figure offer from WWE after how he's behaved the last 2 years

Yeah, while I'm sure Miro's probably going to have a decent amount of money regardless, his value's likely dropped. Even beyond his behavior and lack of generally strong presence in AEW, WWE's loaded themselves up with prospects on NXT and WWE younger and more cooperative than him.

I fail to see what Miro's not liking his creative has to do with anything. You know how many people go to work every day and don't like what they have to do at their jobs? What's silly is that being involved in Meat Madness or whatever else isn't even that bad. Book him. If he doesn't show, he's in blatant breach of contract and it's time for legal action. But it's way past the time for Tony Khan to grow a pair and reign in these bad actors. Some of these guys are taking money under false pretenses, and Miro is Exhibit A.
