They've put out some new info on it. So a couple of questions. 1. Why is Fred in a different art style from everyone else? 2. If they wanted to make one of them black did they have to go with the one who'd come off the most like a tired stereotype by doing so? Couldn't have been Fred or Daphne?

Just ignore it and it will be forgotten like countless other awful reboots.

Really, Shaggy doesn’t look stereotypical at all. He just seems like an ordinary dude.
I’ll say I like these designs way more than the Scooby Get A Clue models with the weird coal eyes.

It's kind of more going off his typical personality combined with the angle this show seems to be taking in saying that. Kind of just seems exceedingly likely they're just going to make him the token stoner of the group. But if they do give him more dimension than that then sure, go for it.

Yeah I’m kinda hoping they do both with him since they went all the way with another fan-originated franchise trope in making Velma queer anyway, I imagine they’d have some ideas beyond those.

I still can't fathom how even in forward-thinking Hollywood, Fred still isn't the gay one

Umm, judging from the trailer, isn't Velma black? And Daphne is Asian, I would guess from the picture and actor. Given that, it would seem Fred is the Token Clueless White Guy.

Pretty sure Velma's supposed to be Indian, her actress is.

Scooby had the good sense to have his agent reject this fiasco at least.

that teaser doesn't do much to make me think this is going to be particularly good.
Mindy's fine as Velma, and I'm not like angry she's mocking those type of people in the opening, but the Super Meta Comedy feels super forced.
That said I'll wait for a full trailer for a full decision.
But... the more that comes out about this the more it feels like this was an original idea they slapped an existing IP on. (and with that odd to do a Scooby spin off... with everyone BUT Scooby.)

Let's do that again." ... Doesn't really help my optimism for this that I haven't really at all enjoyed anything I've seen of the Harley show.

Isn’t Scooby Doo an ensemble cartoon? Why name it after only one of the characters and then change everything from the show it’s based on? Seeing as how I don’t like the Harley Quinn show either, This definitely isn’t for me.

I'm withholding final judgement again until we get a real non teaser trailer but... not a good foot forward situation.
