With WWE celebrating Kane's 25th anniversary.
Which time periods in his career did you find him interesting? He had A LOT of stinkers during this period, so let's sort the good stuff out from the Katie Vick and other crappy stuff.

Just before Katie Vick. Like, the dude had won a Four Way Tag Team Ladder match by himself and looked to be the Baddest man on the roster.
Corporate Kane when he was feuding with Rollins. For most of 2015, Kane was awful and interfered in almost every match, but for that month, he was great.

Most of his original mask era, with an emphasis on the debut angle, 2001 with his bangers in the Rumble and Hardcore title match. Feel like they did a lot for his reputation in general Then a big big lull in the half-mask half-assed Slow Chemical era, little bit of interest around the unmasking, then probably the next interesting thing he did was his WHC run on Smackdown in like 2010/11?

When he first lost the mask in the summer of 2003, he would come to the ring with a black towel over his head and in shackles with a security detail.

No monster nor threat will ever hold a candle to 1997-1998 Kane

1997 debut to 2001 Hardcore title win 2003 de-masking to 2004 loss to Taker at Mania 2012 teaming with Bryan to 2013 team split
That's about it. And even his 90's run had some pretty rocky moments, however once he started competing for the IC title, he was relegated to a bland time filler role for the majority of the remainder of his career. His time as "bald shirtless guy" was especially a channel changer for me.

The original Undertaker feud up thru WrestleMania 14. Its beginnings can actually be traced in the weeks after WrestleMania 13.
Still one of the best supernatural storylines this company has ever done.

Has the Kane and X-Pac stuff aged well?

Anything he did during the Attitude Era was at least mostly watchable.
2002 return Kane should have had a short title run, he was over big, but then HHH f***ed him over.
2003-2004 Kane was also a good time.
Big Show/Kane was a good team in 05-06 that had that fun moment where Masters/Carlito locked Kane in a room but didn't realize there was a door on the other side.
2010 WHC Kane was good, too.
Remasked Kane was also really good at first until he lost his way for a bit.
Team Hell No was probably the last truly *great* moment of his career, but Corporate Kane had its moments.
His politics have led people to write him off in some ways, but dude truly had one of the best big man careers ever.

Team Hell No was the last time. My overall favorite period for him is 1997-98, dude scared the shit out of me as a kid and I loved the ridiculousness of that first feud with Undertaker.

I liked Kane more than not for most of his 1997 to 2013 run. He lost a step in his 40s, but the hell no team was great. One of the best big man careers tbh.

The main two would probably be his tag team with X-Pac, and Team Hell No. Some of his time as Brothers of Destruction was interesting too.
I guess I just liked him in tag teams. lol

97 and 98 for sure when he was still new. Then every time he was in a odd couple team (X-Pac, RVD, Bryan). He was always really good in those. After about 2003 it's hard to think of many times where I found him interesting.
He and I'll lump Big Show in too as their runs almost coincided are perfect examples that longevity isn't really a good thing in wrestling as instead of admiring their ability to last so long instead after a while you're just like "can you please just go away already?". Like if Kane left the company in say 2004 it really wouldn't have changed anything and wouldn't have impacted the company at all. Instead he was around for another 12 years and always in a good spot on the card on top of it despite the fact that he really wasn't putting on great matches. I get a lot of the wrestlers liked him because he was safe and easy to work with but from a fans standpoint he just kind of always wrestled the same match and really never evolved in the ring at all.

From when he won the ECW title through to him winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Everything before and after was just too silly at times.

97-98, the team with X-Pac, Summer 2003 Unmasked Kane, and Team Hell No Kane.

Personally he's like undertaker to me. Loved him as a kid, hated him as an adult. But that's more about tastes changing I guess.
He did feel hugely out of place during that era where he stole reys mask then jobber to him about 50 times in a row for what felt like ten years
If I recall his RAW run seemed to be jobbing constantly to popular Raw babyfaces in boring matches, followed instantly by moving to SD and becoming a world champion the commentators called unstoppable
That might be wrong though as was many years ago so memory fades!
Edit - sorry, just read title properly. OK times I found him interesting were first taker feud, x-pac team, teaming with mankind and Team Hell No skits
I also remembered loving when Vince wanting him locked up and men in white coats costs him the rumble, although when I watched attitude era back that was a very short lived thing!

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually liked him in some of his more comedic roles, like when he mimicked Rock and Hogan that time.

I liked him from his debut right up until the Brothers of Destruction. I hated the BsOfD because I never liked Undertaker and hated watching Kane play Taker's sidekick. I quit watching WWE around 2004ish so after that I dunno.

That time he set Hangman Page up with an all-timer ratio.
