If Toni wins at Full Gear, I think they should just name her the regular champion then and there, retroactively make her time as interim champion part of her reign, and promise Rosa a rematch as soon as she's cleared.

I think it would have been a bad look to strip Rosa before her time out of action surpassed Punk. But now it's about to if it hadn't already and I think you give a deadline and if she isn't back, you make Toni the champion. Rosa will get a rematch no matter what when she gets back but it may not make sense to keep the interim title if you don't have a real idea of when she'll get back at this point.

I think stripping the title is strictly unnecessary, but if they have Thunder Rosa relinquish it willingly and say she wants the active women to get their chance, etc, then that's perfectly acceptable and a good babyface move.

That’s what they should do always, strip the title right away. It makes it cleaner, you don’t have to feel like you’re rushing the real champion back, you get the stink off of the interim name, and former champion gets a rematch as soon as they’re back.

Could be interesting if Jamie Hayter wins as she can be the dick heel and claim she is not the interim champion, she is THE champion, and she could threaten everyone so the interim wording just goes away, which leads to Rosa’s return where she can claim she is the real champ, she never lost etc, and then go from there.

“Personally, I think she should just come to work and defend her championship like she’s supposed to, like a champion should. IMO, Storm has been one of the best champs the women's division has had. It'll be a real shame if her reign is only ever as an interim champ. Rosa has been out long enough that she should be stripped and given the opportunity against the champ when she gets back.

The traditional standard is that if you are unable to defend the title at least once every 30 days, you are stripped of it.
