Disney has unleashed the lawyer hounds and are working to get Reddit to help them get the identity of whoever released the QuantuMania script. Wish theyβd have unleashed some writer hounds to fix it up first instead Makes me wonder if the script leak was what forced them to change the ending. The leaks were right on except for the redone finish. {Spoiler}Kang, Hank, Janet and Cassie escaping the Quantum Realm while Scott and Hope got stranded there.

The leaks were right on except for the redone finish. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Kang, Hank, Janet and Cassie escaping the Quantum Realm while Scott and Hope got stranded there. They were clearly aiming for more of a downer ending, hence the whole "we both just have to lose" thing. I will never understand folks changing an ending, usually for the worst, because of a leak. A good ending, especially one that makes sense, will always be preferential to a "shocking" ending. Swerves are not the be-all, end-all of drama. {Spoiler}Of course, I've also heard that it was changed because "Scott gets trapped in the Quantum Realm" was technically already used in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man 2, which probably would've turned his re-entry in Kang Dynasty into an Endgame retread, but that's something they should've caught in the first draft.

One of the most famous comic book examples of changing an ending due to leaks was Armageddon 2001

Available on Disney+ on May 17th This is the first time since Disney+ launched that they did not release an MCU movie on the service the same day as the digital release. Instead, they're releasing it on the same day as the physical release.

Merely bumping this to say that I saw it after my flatmates encouraged me to watch it with them for a night in. Itβs fine. If you want it to be the opening of the Kang saga, though, the last episode of Loki Season One does more for Kang and setting up the long term for the MCU than the entire movie did. And also makes him seem WAY cooler. {Spoiler}βWow, Iβm going to use these instant disintegration beams to kill the people rebelling against me, none of the wasted side characters though, and make sure they donβt exist. Shame I literally wonβt ever just use them again when the main characters arrive.β
