Ant-man Quantumania will fall off the cliff in its 2nd week to a certain bear on drugs movie They made another Paddington movie? (I mean, we all know what "marmalade sandwiches" are code for, right?) Look, Paddington went off the rails after Queen Liz carked it.

Enjoyed it.
Wasn’t bad. There was some questionable special FX and the end was a bit “huh?”. Post credit scenes really selling the future threat.
But I enjoyed overall.
I’m on mobile so I can’t easily access the spoiler tab so Ill get u to it later
With a rating out of 10, maybe around the 7 area

Critical reviews just before this movie comes out be like...

I’ll give them this: at least Phase 5 seems to have a plan unlike the all over the place mess that was Phase 4. I don’t but their BS on not having a current plan for Young Avengers though. If that’s true then they currently suck at their jobs.
The idea of Kang variants being set up to introduce Iron Lad to form them? Check.
Most of the team already being introduced? Check.
Reason for them to form in Iron Lad needed to keep the other variants in check because he doesn’t want to end up evil? Check.

You know what this reminds of..
I remember when WWE was about to release the John Cena movie “12 Rounds” and one week they suddenly started to promote the villain of the film Miles Dyson or something.
Sort of reminds me of this

I'm primarily going for Kang. Even the more negative reviews say Kang is awesome, so I'll probably have a good time.

But I thought the critics were all shills on Disney's payroll.

Just saw it. They need to give me a street level superhero movie soon. These unwieldy multiverse saga movies are exhausting and not that fun. At least Doctor Strange had enough Sam Raimi to it to be pretty good. But this one…didn’t work. The Spider-Man movie was excellent…and it feels like now every movie had to be blown up to be bigger than it should be. This is Ant-Man. How did it turn into this oversized mess. All those secondary character you liked from the first two movies? No room for them. We’re making a space opera with Ant-Man and a bunch of new characters you couldn’t possibly care about.
And the humor rarely landed. Full theater and people laughed maybe twice the whole movie.
It was pretty to look at. But I didn’t care at all about what I was seeing.
If I wanted that experience I’d have gone to see Avatar

I really liked it. I never pay attention to reviews because I've liked a fair share of films that were panned by critics. I was entertained throughout so it did its job.

So did Evangeline Lilly like learn absolutely nothing from Gina Carano? Like seriously…just shut the f*** up already. She’s talking about how Peyton Reed called her and voiced his support and the such and how personal and professional lives should be separate. That’s not how it works you idiot. A lot of jobs these days make you sign something saying you don’t do stupid shit…especially on the internet.

I thought it was great! Not sure what the bad reviews are about, i can see the marvel fatigue for some, and the thought process this movie is just episode one of the new season of marvel, but I do think it stands on its own.
As for phase four due to Covid, introducing the Disney plus shows, and not ending on an avengers film, it was a bit all over the place, with one or two duds. Though technically phase two ended with ant-man and three (which was like 100 movies long) ended with Far from home.
I think there’s a good phase in there somewhere and I think a better release or watch order could have helped that. There was general themes with the multiverse, the afterlife, and legacy throughout the phase. I think if you started with Wondavision and ended with multiverse of madness. Highlighting Loki and No Way Home as the main flagpoles. It works a lot better.

No Way Home was my choice for the end of Phase Four, set up the stakes of tampering with the multiverse. I would start phase five still with Quantamania, but then release Multiverse of Madness after it. At a push, Loki could have been a movie and slotted in after Wakanda Forever to end the phase on a cliffhanger.
