AEW are going to get a red hot title match out of Jarrett. He's never going to win it, but in front of the right crowd, the Stroke into a very near 3-count is going to set the audience on fire.

All the great people who struggle to get any TV time and Jarrett is apparently now in a TV role in the year 2022. Killed my interest in Dynamite immediately. Jeff Jarrett's segment was also with like five other people, including Cole Karter, who say what you want about his sting reveal, is one of those people who was struggling for TV time, and now it appears he's going to get it alongside Jeff Jarrett, which is a pretty big deal for a dude who had been stuck on DARK with The Factory. I don't exactly see what the big deal is with Jeff Jarrett having a TV Role in 2022 when Billy Gunn as others have said has taken what he's been given and turned into one of the most over acts in wrestling in 2022 I'm not saying Jeff will get there, but this mentality that an old dog can't learn a new trick and they need to step away or are "killing other talents by being on TV" just doesn't click with me. Plus it's not like Jarrett's gonna be doing a ton in ring, but if he starts taking people like Carter under his wing, then he's not just doing this for himself or being on TV alone, he's doing the exact same job nearly every other AEW vet has been doing, trying to get others over.

Make the crowd think he won it for a few minutes before restarting the match and having him lose.

I find it funny that after WWE hired an indy guy to grab the 'Last Outlaw' nickname for Undertaker since he had it trademarked, Jarrett's just been like "right, I'm having that" and using it all over with no objections. Jarrett is the son of Memphis Promoter, Jerry Jarrett. And Memphis was on a no f***s given tier that only Mexico could surpass.

I’ve always been a low key fan of Jarrett and don’t quite understand the level of anger he seems to generate. I get it to an extent and do understand not being a fan but I remember going to a WWA show in 2001/2002 and getting a slapnuts T-shirt ha
So yeah I don’t think he’ll be all over the place and how they’ve used Sting, Billy Gunn etc makes me think it’ll be fine
Also they should just not have bothered with Cole Karter at all lol

I’m perfectly fine with some guitar shots here and there.

I’ve actually really enjoyed his Last Outlaw stuff, so I’m totally okay with this as long as it’s a limited TV time roll

Cardona levels of shit being thrown at him while he smirks and struts I think they'll use him alright. They've handled Sting really well

Ring Ka King was fun while it lasted(I still remember how Steiner got the crowd angry).
Cant wait to see Sting no sell JJs guitar shot like at BFG 2006.

Wow, I never knew about him rampaging through the crowd, and I watched a few Ring Ka King episodes in the past: www.youtube.com/watch?v=89FHgivPGd0

Jarrett and Sting will be a really fun feud. Jarrett’s 2022 heel work is tremendous.

TNA always did very well internationally both in terms of TV deals and attendance so if they're hoping to do some tours and get better deals there, he's a guy you want to bring in.

Good news because they already milked the US East to death

Yeah seriously, when they were setting up events for places like New Mexico, Utah, etc, it felt like a big deal They need to hit markets WWE doesn't frequent, because they'll sell like hot cakes, the East Side of the map needs a breather outside of some shows.

Yeah I recall TNA having house shows all over the US in some places like in Idaho and in the Dakotas. Might as well start hitting those areas

Sorry, but there's no way to justify Jarret as an on screen character in 2022. Dude was lame in 1998. Dude was lame in his most recent appearances in the WWE.
AEW is supposed to be the cool, new alternative and they sign a 50 year old cowboy?
It would be like if MTV tried to reinvent themselves by signing Fred Durst to be a VJ.

It feels like the number of shows TNA has done in the west of the US can be counted on the fingers of one hand. That really needs to change.

Bringing Jeff as backstage talent makes sense, apparently he did good job in WWE.
But on-screen? No thanks, keep him away.
