In May/June 2000 D'Lo Brown and Perry Saturn formed a tag team that I completely forgot about until someone mentioned it to me a few weeks ago. Such an odd pairing. I completely forgot about that team too until you just mentioned it. It came about because the teams of D'Lo and Godfather and Saturn and Dean Malenko both split at the same time with them then each aligning with members of the other team. So as a result we also got an alliance between Godfather and Malenko which led to Dean becoming Double Ho Seven.

Grandmaster Sexay and Steve Blackman- Sexay would try to get Blackman to dance every week, the team ended when Sexay was released.
Scotty Too Hotty and Albert- Albert turned on Scotty because he couldn't take the dancing anymore. The next week he changed his attire to the trunks and the "shave your back chants" began.
Spike Dudley and Tazz- They even won the tag team titles and successfully defended them against The Dudleyz at Royal Rumble 2002. They then lost them to Billy and Chuck and then Tazz retired from in ring competition and returned to being a commentator.
Reverend D-Von and Ron Simmons- this happened in late 2002 right at the end of D-von's reverend gimmick. Simmons used his real name at this time as the name Farooq had links to Al-Qaeda. The team only lasted a few weeks as D-Von would reunite with Bubba Ray at Survivor Series.

Booker T and Test aren't generally remembered as a team that well even though they won both the WWF and WCW Tag Team Championships

What a weird time. I checked Cagematch and D'Lo and Saturn's last match as a team was in a #1 contender's battle royal... two days later D'Lo teamed with Chaz and Lo Down was born. Three teams for the man in 2000, they were clearly trying to find something that would stick for him.

I was just thinking about the WrestleMania XIV Tag Team Battle Royal. Does anyone know if there was any background or storyline rationale given for the teams of Bradshaw/Chainz and Flash Funk/Steve Blackman? Had either teamed before?

Flash Funk hd a few of these, someone already mentioned Ron Simmons, he also teamed for a minute with Terry Funk.

Christian was mentioned earlier. After the Invasion ended, there was a short period where Christian, Test, Regal and The Dudleys were a stable because they were the last Alliance members not named Austin or Angle who got to keep their jobs for various reasons. Christian and Test were a tag team during this and even wrestled Albert and Scotty 2 Hotty at Vengeance.
And speaking of Test, he had a short-lived team with Mike Knox in WWECW. Most notably feuding with Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman.
Regal and Lance Storm won the World Tag Titles and even wrestled Lawler and JR on a Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately, Regal fell ill shortly after. That led to Storm teaming with Chief Morley, a team that would actually last until Storm's retirement.
Way back when the Dudleys first debuted in ECW, D-Von aligned with Axl Rotten for a few months, even getting a few Tag Title shots.

Booker T and Test aren't generally remembered as a team that well even though they won both the WWF and WCW Tag Team Championships That reminds me of Test’s tag team with Scott Steiner where they… bonded over their enjoyment of abusing Stacy. That team reminded me of Charlie Haas and Viscera, who tagged together because Lillian Garcia friendzoned both of them. It lasted a couple months max, and they were mostly on Heat, but I do recall they even had a page together in the live event program book from mid-late 06.

Renee Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki won the WWE tag team titles on Smackdown.
Before teaming with Trevor Murdoch, Lance Cade was in a tag team with Mark Jindrak when he was known as Garrison Cade.

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode.
Obviously Jason Jordan and James Storm were more memorable than that. But even when you take them away, you'd probably say Otis and Dolph Ziggler.

Kurt Angle & British Bulldog Wtf? I don't remember this at all, lol. I looked up "WWF Angle Bulldog" and found two matches, one against Head Cheese (Their first match as a team, coincidentally. HC, that is), and one against Chris Jericho & Chyna. Apparently those two matches were enough to get Angle and Bulldog a spot as one of the opposing teams in WWF No Mercy's Tag Team Championship Mode path if you defend the titles. How odd.

Just thought of a really obscure one. Back in 1997, Jeff Jarrett and Debra had just left the Horsemen and we're feuding with Steve McMichael and Dean Malenko. This led the short-lived tag team of Jarrett and Eddie Guerrero, with Alex Wright also wanting to hang out with them, mainly to get close to Debra.
