Between this and Scott Hall. They were a big part of my childhood. Especially during the 1993-1996 years.
Terrible.

RIP to a legend
He had not been active on social media as he usually had been for a good min. He was always a guy you see being very positive and appreciating the fans

RIP to a legend He had not been active on social media as he usually had been for a good min. He was always a guy you see being very positive and appreciating the fans The part about the fans is definitely true. You could tell it from him, how much he appreciated all the fans, keeping the legacy and memory of Tommy alive after almost 30 years.

I really hoped this was a hoax but it looks like it's ending up true. That it's apparently suicide makes it all the more tragic. RIP Jason. And I didn't know it was to a point where it was that dark for JDF to even contimplate this. I saw a video of him in 2021, during the earlier parts of the pandemic. He was really upbeat about doing some signings for people to lift their spirits during this time. Sometimes the outwardly happiest people are the ones hiding the worst darkness inside of them. He also got divorced a few months ago. That likely didn't help his mental state.

Sadly not too far similar from Pua (Shane from Wild Force) In his case he committed suicide after the domestic violence issues with is wife

This is so heartbreaking. An icon of '90s childhood.
RIP Tommy.

First Batman and now Tommy? Seriously, Death, what did my 90s childhood ever do to you? Someone put Cal Dodd in a bunker, stat. But yes. Awful month for Fox Kids fans. Batman, Green Ranger, and Wolverine introduced teen me to badass superheroes after knowing of Superfriends and the like. As for what apparently happened...I'll wait and see what had happened. Either way I'm not one to judge others.

Not judging, just mentioning I heard about that.

Death is a primitive concept. I prefer to think he is still fighting evil morphing to another dimension.

Not judging, just mentioning I heard about that. Like I said he had not been active on social media for a good while as I follow him as he was always talking about comic cons or just saying something positive You don't really think anything of it until something like this happens. It is sad

Now that it has been confirmed, RIP.
Batman and Tommy Oliver so close together. Pillars of my childhood.
Tommy was far and away my favorite Ranger. At first mainly because he was the green one, but he remained my favorite when he switched colors to white. Didn’t really matter what color Ranger he was, above all else he was just…awesome.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. I watched Power Rangers every day when I was a kid. I’m sad to hear that he was in such a horrible place.

I saw someone share on Twitter something earlier this morning when this was still in the unconfirmed state, that best summarizes the sheer impact Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver had on me and others of my generation. He was Goku before we had Goku in our lives.

Sad. He was the “cool” Power Ranger that all the kids wanted to play as in the playground or outside at home back in the day. RIP
