Let’s not get political or anything. But what are some conspiracy theories that you believe? I think that HHH/Steph or Nick Khan leaked the Vince Sex pest stories to get him out of power and save the company

Here's a wacky one: Vince Ru-bro was not a WWF spy sent to kill the WCW, but Ed Oklahoma was!

Grayson Waller is lying about his age, and is actually 25 not 32.
I'm starting to come around on Steph and Hunter are the ones that leaked the Vince stuff.

I still find myself on the fence - though leaning heavily towards it being a shoot - about the Montreal screwjob. It just seemed to be a perfect storm. Two rivals, the backstory, the build.. the documentary crew. And that one incident seemed like the absolute genesis for what the WWF would become.

The main issue with it for me is how he clearly hated working in WCW

Hogan didn't want to do a program with Rick Rude in 1990 WWF not because Hogan felt Rude was "too small" to be seen as a threat to him, but simply because Hogan felt working with Ultimate Warrior's sloppy seconds was beneath him.

WCW didn't lose $65 million by themselves. Turner moved some of their expenses from other parts of the corporation to WCW.

Grayson Waller is a Gen Z-er lying about his age.
Tino Sabbatelli was spying on AEW for WWE in the very short time he was there.

Zero shot that it would have ended the way it did if her lawyers included a work in her lawsuit.

My personal favorite is "WCW altered merchandizing UPCs to have everything come up as Hogan because they had no other way to pay his salary." Pretty sure Nash recently confirmed it without confirming it by saying he got a 7 figure payout from Turner when he sued over backpay from merch in exchange for an NDA

The main issue with it for me is how he clearly hated working in WCW True, but did he only hate working there once he got there? Did he only go for the money? Was the plan always to come back after his WCW contract was finished, having made some good money. Working a reduced schedule in the fed, maybe reigniting his fraud with Shawn? That plan goes to hell when Shawn retires, Owen dies and Bret gets a career ending concussion. All that unravels and all parties decide instead to protect the angle at all costs.

I don't necessarily believe the Savage/Stephanie shit, but SOMETHING monumental had to have happened between Vince McMahon and Randy Savage at some point. Vince let bygones be bygones with damn near everyone he ever worked with. He worked with Hogan again, Bret Hart, Bischoff, Sammartino, Warrior and countless others who screwed him over (in his mind), sued him, helped competition, or all of the above. And yet Randy Savage ended up on his "I hate Forever" list with guys like Ted Turner and Phil Mushnick until the day he died. It had to have been bigger than taking the Slim Jim contract.

Honestly, it's probably the same reason he had a distaste for Luger: He liked Elizabeth and held a grudge against Savage for the marriage failing and her falling into a bad life. Doesn't mean I think it is fair, but I think it crystalized his enmity for Savage and Lex.

Vince giving that speech on TV in 1994 about Savage leaving and praising him for all his contributions doesn't seem like something you'd do for someone you have some kind of huge grudge against though. He could have easily carried on like business as usual and not even mentioned it but he went out of his way to give him a nice sendoff. Compared to Hogan who was the biggest star ever and when he left the year before I don't think they even bothered to address his departure on TV. I actually think Savage was finally about to go into the Hall of Fame. If you look at the pattern a lot of guys started doing work with the WWE video games not long before they either returned or went into the hall. I think it happened with like Goldberg/Sting/Bruno/Warrior. Savage did work for the WWE All Stars game in late 2010/early 2011. It wouldn't shock me if after starting to work with him again they were holding off until the next year in his home state of Florida to put him in the Hall of Fame but he obviously died before it could happen.
