you’re fine, that is between you two but there was already three people in here before you and Cjb got into it I’m not really going to focus on any of this shit when you have someone over there feeling fine with making basic ass racist comments that are supposed to convince people yeah everyone’s wrong about our pepsi papa Got into it? He randomly attacked me lol thats the issue... Dude, I apologized a page ago, and said I was moving on. I said I shouldn't have done it, and I got too heated What more do you want? If other users feel differently or want to tell me to calm down, isn't that of benefit to you? Because it worked, and I apologized. That's all I can do at this moment. I shouldn't have directed my anger in that moment to you, was poor timing and poor judgment, and I deleted the posts in kind for it. So once again, I apologize, and would like to move on from that confrontation.

we’re not going through this again where it gets shut down because someone decides to be racist everyone can move on and like who they like but I wish people would realize that almost no one in here likes the bucks or liked the bucks as much as we liked punk. there’s maybe one young bucks superfan on this entire board, the group is entirely irrelevant It's hilarious how many people think that having an issue with Punk means you're a Bucks Fanboy or love Meltzer. Most fans barely know who Meltzer is and I guarantee that up until a year ago Punk was way more popular with AEW fans than the Bucks were, even though we respect the Bucks for having such a big role in the company getting going. It's projection, nothing more. People with blind fanboyish defenses of Punk turn around and project that onto other people by calling them blind fanboys because they've got no other defense for his behavior. This whole thing has become a weird social experiment in how easy it is for people to get indoctrinated if the smiling face on their TV tells them what to think. They'll absorb incorrect information and defend it to the death. Anyway it's 3:30 AM, people should go to sleep instead of squabbling over nonsense on here. Save your energy for the EXPLOSIVE RESPONSE probably on the way today or tomorrow. I don’t even think it is possible to be as big of a bucks fan as all of us were of punk nobody out here is going hog wild for them, this isn’t the elite vs punk, it is one shithead against a wrestling company we just happen to enjoy lol

You don’t have to like Meltzer or the Bucks to not like what Punk has been doing in plain view. The All Out post-media scrum is STILL publicly available on AEW’s page: www.youtube.com/live/yUGI7-9S4QE?si=iwisObei8qjGSrwXHow is any of this, REGARDLESS of the fallout immediately afterward, acceptable to any degree for a then-babyface champion to behave? There has never been any semblance of remorse for the words spoken that day, and all the other hearsay-based events and non-televised events that had no relevance to any kayfabe story still does not aid in exonerating the behavior displayed by a senior member of the roster. This isn’t a black or white, Coke or Pepsi situation here. Meltzer is not employed by AEW; if he did something wrong or shared reports that were proven fabricated, he should be held accountable for that. If the Bucks were blatantly unprofessional about anything in front of the paying audience, they can deal with talent relations blowback. Also, no, a “wink at the camera” mocking someone is not enough to warrant physically assault and intimidation. Prove the naysayers wrong by BEING the best in the world, not screaming at people who disagree with the statement.

I'm still trying to figure out how it is The Bucks, Elite's or Meltzer's fault that CM Punk confronted JACK PERRY, choked out JACK PERRY, and then tried to bum rush TONY KHAN resulting in toppled monitors and the man fearing for his life and safety
Like this is literally that Eric Andre Shoots Hannibal meme come to life, CM Punk did not get fired because of any of the people they're actually blaming, which includes y'know, mostly just himself.

I think literally the only wrestler podcasts I've ever listened to are the Punk and Moxley ones about them leaving and I feel like I'm probably way better off for that.

There used to be an Art of Wrestling Animated, those were super entertaining and I recommend them, they're probably still up The Petey Williams stories about Scott Steiner translate very well to animation. Edit: Yep they still are!

Someone earlier in the thread asked if anyone could make a list of all the times Punk has been a major hypocrite in the last 2 years but there's not enough hours in the day for anyone to make that list.
However someone on another forum did make a list of Punks ridiculous behaviour in the last 18 months so I thought I'd copy and paste it here and even though it's stuff we already know it's still wild to see it all written down.
CM Punk: Confronts Regal regarding being a stooge for Triple H. Threatens to hold up a PPV with Hangman Page because he feared for his safety. Calls out Hangman on live TV with no intention of a program between them. Sends a legal letter to AEW regarding working with Moxley in a Rocky style feud and possibly being cleared. Verbally abuses management and anyone in his path at the All Out Press Conference. Physically abuses management in Brawl Out. Leaks stories on Brawl Out:
Door was kicked down. Larry’s teeth were knocked loose. Ace Steel’s wife was in danger. Cited Illinois "Castle Doctrine" law.
Posts on Instagram calling out Dave (liar) and Jericho (liar and stooge) and Mox (for having seen Rocky??). Pokes around WWE to see if there is interest despite being under contract with AEW. Shows up at a WWE show making sure he is seen backstage before being asked to leave. (EDIT 2:) Is pulled from Collision announcement last minute at the Upfronts due to Punk refusing to show up for the vignettes, and "played a card" last minute. Gets Ace Steel his job back with backpay. Returns and makes a ‘counterfeit bucks’ comment. Confronts Ryan Nemeth regarding a twitter post. Does an ESPN interview that doesn’t publish all that was quoted. Sends Christopher Daniels (EDIT: Head of Talent Relations) home from Collision. Bans Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy from Collision. Wants to get into the Blood and Guts match. Tells Jungle Boy he can’t use real glass. Tries to get on the Zoom calls with FTR and the Bucks. Sends Ryan Nemeth from Collision. May or may not have wanted Hangman Page backstage. Cut’s a post show promo on Hangman Page about not moving action figures. Tried to arrange a meeting between the Elite that they did not want. Scuffles with Jungle Boy after comments during a match. “Lunges” at Tony Khan and makes him “fear for his life”. Is terminated with cause.
But the elite made a pepsi joke on BTE yesterday, even though it actually wasn't a Pepsi and in no way a reference to Punk, so they're basically both equally to blame right?

Tells Jungle Boy he can’t use real glass. In a spot with a car windshield that would have been far, far more dangerous with sugar glass.

Anyone follow Ace Steel on Twitter and know what his tweets/likes look like right now?
Asking because I just checked in just now on his wife Lucy Guy and, while she hasn't tweeted, her likes are all anti-Tony Khan tweets from random accounts to a degree that you don't normally see from someone whose husband is employed by the person in question.
Like, I'm not trying to reach with this and it could just be her own personal frustrations about Punk's firing with no basis on what's going on with her husband whatsoever, but she's liking some pretty hyperbolic-laden intense ones.

Dear Punk defenders: Just because someone says something bad to you does not give you the right to assault them and then badmouth them to everyone and anyone you talk to for a year afterwards. That is not acceptable behavior in real life, nor especially at work. If you think it is acceptable behavior at work, try it at your own place of work and let us know what happens when you are on the unemployment line. Someone being obnoxious to you does not give you the right to assault them. That's it. End of.

The ones where Regal talks about his health are fascinating and horrifying. Iirc one was on Jericho's and one his own. Vince helped arrange and pay for Regal's surgery because there's only a handful of experts capable. Which is why the story of Punk getting in his face stands out. Vince has the moral high ground over Punk in this instance, Vince!

Most of it is said by sources like Hausman that get info directly from punk and even Punk himself,or confirmed by talent or TK himself?

Boy, Punk sure turned out to be a nightmare. I don't see any way WWE brings him back at this point, unless Endeavor sees dollar signs and overrules the actual employees.
His return in 2021 was one of the happiest moments ever in wrestling for me and I was totally willing to give him the benefit of the doubt / a fair chance when he came back a couple months ago. Yet at this point I kinda wish I could forget he ever existed

I'll put it simply this way for people who are confused.
If things get too heated in here, I come into a thread, tell people to cool off or maybe lock the thread as I did here at one point just so people cooled down.
If someone then comes in, did something to another user to break the rules or abused them on a platform outside of here that might make us look bad, it doesn't completely override the bad stuff that might have happened in that thread but it also doesn't make the outcome not be "You're banned, get out".
The Elite might have said and done things that rubbed people the wrong way. The Elite also didn't literally assault people. That automatically overwhelms the BTE jokes or the match in Chicago or whatever.
