Ya know I think Jeff Jarrett said it best recently on his podcast. Vince Russo and Ed Ferrera only ever cared about ratings so they would do whatever they could to get people talking but they never actually cared even about ppv buys.

Its funny because they were ahead of their time in a way. WWE now depends on TV rights fees while PPV is dead. Ratings are king and other business is secondary. Of course being ahead of your time is not always a good thing. And with the splintering of fandom you have far less of the "casual fan" they were always chasing. People who still watch demand a greater consistency than Russos crash tv approach. |

I always forget how hot Marianna Komlos was, and I've always thought it a tragedy she wasn't around long enough to do a single photoshoot with WWF.
Also, obligatory reminder that Russo was so enraged that McMahon shut down the Beaver Cleavage character that it was one of the main contributing factors behind his decision to go to WCW.

Putting aside the fact that Vince Russo is a hateful bigot and a homophobe- which one shouldn't put aside, don't platform people like this- he's mostly written crap, if not only crap, especially since the 90's. He's been responsible for two companies going through dire times with absolute asnine, shit booking and writing. Are they seriously that desperate?
