Today is Bad Luck Fale's birthday. DEH UNDA BOSS Fale was a perfect bodyguard/henchman. Even his IC title run was brief but no doubt if Balor/Devitt stuck around you would had the picture of him sitting on Fale shoulders with the IWGP title I could see it. I think Bad Luck Fale's day are drawing to a close, hopefully at least his G1 days are over, but it'll be wild when he's really gone.

If we got this current version of Tama Tonga 5 years ago, when they tested the water of him leading BC I think Fale would been a perfect heavy for him Fale/Devitt just had great chemistry tho. Fale was limited but did enough in his role and at this point is a big help to NJPW behind the scenes with bringing in talent

Yesterday at RPW's show, Gabriel Kidd made a challenge to Shibata.
Yota Tsuji will also be returning to RPW next month.

It appears they won't be retiring the Strong Titles. Well the tags were just crowned and are still held by the 1st champions. The singles is on its 2nd. It would be a shame to sweep away Freddy’s story. But I also never liked the actual titles themselves. The top belt for a States based promotion should be the IWGP US & IWGP US tag team championships. It just makes too much sense. No US promotion has ever had an Asian or Japanese championship that was primarily defended domestically. I will always wonder how much Covid altered the US expansion plans.

I do imagine the US title still outranks the Strong title, but yeah, it's a little tricky in terms of figuring out hierarchies.

On the loser leaves match, they are saying that their Japanese Career will be ending, not that they have to leave the promotion.

Looks like New Japan isn't going to stop until Tana and KENTA legit kill each other in the ring.

I think it altered them a lot, unfortunately. I remember in 2019 they produced a map of the US and shared their touring plans to hit virtually every region 1-2x a year, and they started making good on that too. Now we're back to mostly the California/NY markets like we were in 2017.

All the events will be in English. Well, that's a plus for me since unfortunately I don't speak Japanese. Would've watched it anyway but at least now I can understand the commentary.
