Kota Ibushi is apparently sending tapes of him sparring with pro-MMA fighters in his dojo to different outlets as a possible hint of what his next move is.
I hope that's simply a misdirection by him because if he's seriously considering an MMA move that's NOT a good idea.

Looks like New Japan isn't going to stop until Tana and KENTA legit kill each other in the ring. If Ibushi and Naito's necks survived all those encounters, there's no way those two will even come close. |

I am morbidly curious about Ibushi going that route.
Also, as an aside to all the news over the past week, how sweet of a spot did El Phantasmo of all people find himself in? The guy was a junior less than a year ago, and not even with the company at this time four years ago. Now he could be a top foreign talent for New Japan (and maybe BC leader). Though I guess that’s just how leadership changes hands with that group.

Other then Kenta, he's the only real option to be leader.

Get EVIL away from Togo and let him be the brute he was and it will work better. Even with KENTA not being full time he also works as he is an asshole and can build the group in his image Ultimately, as I have said before I think Jay should got his own group but BC might as well go with a Japanese leader at this point. EVIL and KENTA are your best choices outside of turning someone like Shingo which I don't see happening |
