Alright seriously can we start a petition to have Zayn be able to come out to worlds apart or a similar variation of it that’s not his current awful rendition. I want to hear that Montreal crowd go ballistic. I honestly anticipate it to be up there with one of the loudest crowds in history.

I truly think "Cody beating Roman for the belts will likely get a big pop and the storyline will be fine" and "It's really f***ing depressing that it likely won't be Sami and he's gonna lose to Roman in his Hometown" can exist in the same Universe. Like I don't think anyone's BUMMED if it's Cody who has the triumphant Roman dethroning, but I think there's something really special with Sami right now that him losing to Roman and going for the tag belts inevitably, feels like there could be so much more there than what they seem to have planned But hey, we'll see There are people in this thread acting like if Cody wins no star will be made and the entire title run will be for naught. Which was who I was referring to. Which is outrageous Like I said before the talk against Cody like he didn't earn this is crazy. People are making it seem like he just waltzed in and the crowd is going to boo him (which they have no come even close to yet)

Honestly yeah. I feel like many people (not all) are trying to rationalize what we know the company will do, as opposed to what we know they should do. If the Wrestlemania payoff for this arc is Sami and KO winning the tag belts, it will 100% have peaked at Rumble. Mania night two…Roman will be playing the part of Yokozuna, Cody will be Bret Hart and Sami Zayn will play Hulk Hogan. Paul Heyman is Mr. Fuji?

I feel so strongly about this because of how invested I was in Bryan. I got sucked into that story and was with them every step of the way. The two situations aren’t the same at all. I’m not saying people can’t be bummed they’re not going with Sami, but if people are suggesting Cody won’t be more of a star after Roman, I have to believe they have no clue what the f*** they’re talking about.

It's not that someone like Tatum has no argument whatsoever. But it should be Embiid. It's been built to, some believe he already should have been there, it feels like his time, best he's ever played as a pro, etc.

Also, like, it’s easier to believe that Cody was always the plan after Hell in a Cell especially. He’d probably be a champion at least once by now if it wasn’t for the injury. When the company was trying to say “Hey, we always planned for Bryan to win at ‘Mania”, there was no way the response to that wasn’t instantly “Like f*** you did”.

Most likely it seems like Cody was going to win MITB and get a run with the title

In people's attempts to cast Sami as Daniel Bryan in a redo of the "Yes Movement", trying to fit Cody in the Batista role of "guy who won the Rumble that nobody likes" is akin to fitting a square peg into a round hole.

More like trying to stick a baseball bat into that little hole on your phone that has the SIM card thing in it.

My dawg had been waiting all week to do that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I will say though, it’s a bit unfortunate that the Zayn/Sikoa dynamic went in that direction, because I liked that when he showed up he was like “Sami’s all right” and was generally kinda nice to him, the only one that really seemed sincere about it. And then as soon as he started invoking Umaga that was gone.

But we seem to have gone from Reigns/Sikoa love Sami to The Bloodline doesn't trust Sami extremely abruptly, before the Rumble.

Because Sami started screwing up (in their eyes) in the past month or two. Around Jul-Nov everything was going great with War Games probably being the peak. Sami started getting too comfortable though, cutting Roman off in promos, guaranteeing victory over KO/Cena then getting pinned and causing Roman to lose for the first time in 2 years, constantly being hesitant to beat down KO, coming out too late to help Roman in that contract signing segment, screwing up Solo's match with KO, etc.

So far there have been comparisons to Hogan/Hart at Wrestlemania IX, Hart/Luger at Wrestlemania X, and Bryan/Batista at Wrestlemania XXX. Ima go with Austin/Foley at Wrestlemania XV Third wheels, man. Third wheels.
