If we must have the tag titles being on the card for some reason and most give them to Ronda I prefer that over Damage CTRL, though curious how this'll fit with the Trish heel turn rumors.

So all of Dmg Cntrl either do not get to be on Mania or relegated to a nothing battle royale.
That is some serious BS because idk what else they can do with them if this is the tag title plans and it does not turn into a multi team tag match.

I'm guessing if this happens they do Bayley v Trish? Or Trish gets 2 partners to fight all of Damage CTRL.
This tag title match makes far more sense than the previously rumored Damage CTRL v Ronda/Shayna. That would have been completely heatless and not worthy of making a Wrestlemania card.
I'd still rather they just did Becky/Ronda 1 on 1. Even if it's not the mega match it would have been 3 years ago it's still a solid upper midcard women's match for the card.

Triple H has done nothing more than screw over any sort of momentum that Damage CTRL manages to get. And at this point it is 100% intentional. If I was Dakota, Iyo, or Bayley, I would be going over my contract with a microscope looking for an out. Because its painfully clear that Triple H is intentionally sabotaging their booking in some sort of weird vendetta. Especially at the expense of someone who only shows up once a year maybe in Lita, and also in favor of Ronda who is absolutely awful at everything and has zero actual value to the women's division these days. Meanwhile Damage CTRL gets left off the card because Triple H seems to dislike everyone in it. MAYBE Bayley might get a match but Iyo and Dakota are toast. And as fans of both, I am pissed off that WWE will screw them over just to satisfy the egos at play. Obligatory Vince Is Back On Creative Post Nah, this is 100% out of Triple H's playbook regarding Damage CTRL. He sees them getting any sort of momentum or hype at all and immediately kneecaps them. This has happened MULTIPLE times over the past 8 months or so. Ever since their debut after Summerslam. |

Yea the failings of Dmg Cntrl squarely fall on HHH here.
He has been kneecapping them from the onset.
When he had them unite at summerslam and then immediately had them back off despite having a 2 on 3 advantage against two women who just had a grueling match was an immediate red flag.
And now looking like none are gonna be on Mania.

Because other than being fodder to the women he wants to push I do not see how they factor into any sort of push...Bayley is the only one I see getting anything out of a post Dmg Cntrl break up simply because she is Bayley. HHH probably got everything he wanted out of IYO in NXT and just sees her as a capable hand Dakota is just toast. |

I wonder if we get Lita and Becky vs. Ronda and Shayna vs. Trish and Bayley w/ Damage CTRL or a four way with Io and Dakota. That could be fun.
Honestly, they’re getting all the women on the show in different ways and Asuka and Ripley are likely walking out champs. I think it could set up some fun post-Mania stuff.

Never put down to malice what can be explained by incompetence, or jugging too many balls at once.
(A recurring issue incidentally - I think HHH puts too much faith on fans knowing who folk are from NXT so they dont need as built up on RAW or Smackdown. Which is an error.)

This sounds more plausible then the previously rumored Ronda and Shayna against Damage CTRL match.
Only question is where does that leave Damage CTRL? I guess maybe Iyo and Dakota turn on Bayley afterwards to play off her agreeing to the title match for them and them seeming kind of annoyed. Then Bayley gets Trish or someone else for a partner leading to another tag match or those two teams then being added to the tag title match to make it a four way.

That actually sounds like a great idea. They really, really, really should have capitalized on Ronda/Becky last year, as the reports at the time said they were going with Charlotte again and then supposedly Becky would be this year. Obviously, things didn't really pan out that way, but this is a nice idea for a WM-worthy match.

I respect that they seem to be resisting doing a lot of multi-person matches just for the sake of getting people onto the card, but at the same time, that means a lot of people are going to be missing out unless they do the battle royals again.
