According to Wrestlenomics on Twitter, 858,000.
#4 for the night. Beaten by two NBA games and, uh, Vanderpump Rules. Whatever that is.
Not the usual higher end of the chart they usually see the week after a PPV but, well, up from last week so there’s that.

This is probably gonna be around what the numbers are until the NBA season ends
The games conflict and cut into their bottom line and lead in pretty decently by proven metrics. And now they're getting closer to playoffs so people are watching the games more. The recent night there wasn't a game they hit well over a million. Much like WWE with Monday Night Football, they'll likely level off and less people will DVR by the spring, which, is normally when AEW's gone on their million viewers streak, for the same reasons I feel

I have one question to ask before you guys get mad at me. Do ratings threads for AEW on here get toxic like they do on reddit? I don't care about ratings at all I'm just wondering.

Dynamite always entertains me, so I don't really care about ratings.

I wouldn't say toxic, but there's definitely some hand-wringing and "that isn't a good sign"ing any time AEW does less than a million. So like, every other ratings thread.

There was a time when they were very testy but lately no that hasn't been the case, it's pretty mlld discussion and Mothman's epic House of Black meme tirades

Dynamite always entertains me, so I don't really care about ratings. At this point I also don't think Warner's worried about them either, they seem completely infatuated with them, and coming from a Network that's cancelling/cutting anything that so much sneezes wrong, that's very good

Mox and Hangman shouldve ended already, and now no one cares about BCC vs DO, just reunite Hangman with the Elite already.

Weirdly the blue line in that graph mirrors my level of engagement with the show last night, enjoyed the first hour and then gradually lost interest during the second.

Just because a segment didn't get a good number or a lower number one random week does not mean that "No one cares about this and they need to end it". This should be Ratings Thread Rule #1 at this point.

Problem was, even with current trends there was no way Dark Order was pulling off a win here. They need a string of wins, on Dynamite, where they beat actual talent. As is, they're just loveable losers except they're not as loveable anymore. I say this as the biggest Dark Order fan btw. People can be made to care for them again, just needs effort.

These numbers make clear that the only Revolution of any merit is a revolution around to turn away from this fetid house of flips and seek refuge back within taste once more. The day of reckoning draws nigh for AEW and what is fourth one week can quickly fall into ninth, then into oblivion. There will not be numbers comprehensible by mortal minds to rank the destiny of AEW, but pull out your calculators and try; the sheer depths these ratings will sink to will make your Texas instruments want to secede from your possession.

Really the correct thing to do for every wrestling show is to shrug and go 'yep, that's a rating', but there wouldn't be much point in having a thread about them if that were the case.

Doesnt really mean anything I suppose, but not getting a million right after a highly touted ppv, has to be at least somewhat discouraging though, doesn’t it?

Sometimes I felt like the "Is a draw" stuff were memes though, like just in good fun, which is also fair, that's just how these threads should be Inevitably we should just put the pits to any other odd weeks lowest number being an angle, wrestler, or whatever failing. Sometimes you might expect a bigger number given who or what it is, but TV Ratings are a weird animal and it's hard to pinpoint anything for sure outside of sports being a big time syphon for wrestling numbers.

The number did go up from last week, in the end I guess it's subjective. A lot of DVR numbers were likely here because of the NBA games, but usually when this happens AEW goes up 100K viewers at random so... idk Warner loves them, that's what matters the most

Demo kind of low at 0.29 as well.
This time last year they were seemingly about to potentially overtake Raw in the demo.
March 9, 2022 Dynamite: 0.40 March 7, 2022 WWE Raw: 0.45
March 8, 2023 Dynamite: 0.29 March 6, 2023 WWE Raw: 0.52
