I say this too, fans deserve to be happy and celebrate that Cody won, but that 100 percent is a credit to Cody more than anybody else. It takes a very rare person to stay that hot with some of the crap he had to deal with since last Mania creatively. The match may not have been for me, but it was what it needed to be.

Besides that, thank God. Glad we can get that out of our system and get on with giving Cody some actual ass challengers.

I've been pretty clear that I don't really care for WWE. But y'know what? That was great. They got me. I really thought we were going to get more Bloodline bullshit, but they did right by Cody. Good job Triple H and Nick Khan. Congratulations Cody.

After seeing so many people with big time momentum get cut off at the knees for this stupid Roman run, I hope Cody has a meaningful (but not too long!!!!) run with the title. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do next.

I will say Roman hitting Seth with the chair was valid because it showed how Roman couldn’t let go of the past/Seth destroying the Shield and it cost him everything. But him getting bitched out and swatted like a fly after his cool shield entrance was like damn lmao |
