I believe Dave's report only because if this was the end goal - you don't do what they did at the Rumble. It makes no f***ing sense. Once they know Punk is hurt, they plant the seed Monday to buy time and decided on this for tonight (and even if this was the plan, the execution was horrible but that's another thing entirely).

And hypothetically say Cody and Roman saw Rock backstage before this segment. You mean to tell me they knew this shit prior to getting out there? Roman knew Cody was going for Seth's belt and yet he buried him and the title.
This is just bad booking.
I haven't seen this kind of negativity since Cody lost to Roman a year ago. Why should we care about full-timers if they're being looked at as lesser than part-timers?

Its hard , I honestly believe Cody dreams of winning the WWE Title, and im sure they promised him he is still gonna win it(plus he is making a shitload of money). Roman knew Cody was going for Seth's belt and yet he buried him and the title. Because a consistent trend of this title reign is him and Heyman continually running down and burying literally everyone else. Roman's got a brilliant scheme running where he continually gets to make everyone else look like absolute trash then stay on top forever while having the exact same match a couple times of year because he's the only dude who ever looks good. |
